My wife and I decided not to cook a Sunday breakfast, saving for an early dinner tonight. Did the healthy, easy cereal thing this morning.

No , not really. Raised as a yankee in Michigan, my father was born in Alabama. Visited the relatives as a kid with my parents.

So you didn’t catch it! Last year the wife and I were hiking the Jenny lake trail and I had my sc shirt on it surprised me how many other Carolina fans we there. The sec was actually well represented including a smirking Bama fan with his big white hat complete with embroidered A. That’s another thing that’s great about this country a hat or a shirt can ignite a conversation and some good natured ribbing 2000 miles from home.

I worked with a bunch of guys from Alabama years ago on a piping job with BE&K. Great folks there was one Forman we called biggen He was telling us Bear Bryant recruited him out of high school and he didn’t go and got married instead. He said his father still hadn’t forgiven him.
