With my kid having a pending Covid test, I’m going to pass the Toyota and coffee meet up. One day I’ll be able to get out… one day…
Pretty sure he is going to be negative but with schools how they are he’ll need a negative test to go in on Monday or Tuesday… when he’s feeling better.

Anyone here Live near Rising Sun/Colora? There’s a pretty nice 3rd Gen quicksand Tacoma down the street from me. Has a tan Softopper and Black rhino wheels.

 

An old friend of mine just opened up his own shop near Annapolis specializing in Japanese cars & trucks. Floated him the idea of the Toyota truck community and he’s all about it. Very nice guy who knows his stuff and very nice shop full of some pretty rare cars straight from Japan.

He can do anything you need except alignments (doesn’t have a rack yet). If anyone wants his info shoot me a message!

Gents, I need some help. Truck is at 109,675 miles.

I have a rear end noise thats been getting worse since around Christmas. I’ve pulled the drums apart twice, cleaned and readjusted them. Passenger side rear shoe was dragging a little, fixed that, noise didnt change. Backed off the adjusters on the parking brake. No noise change.

I dont feel any play in the rear hubs that would suggest a failed wheel bearing. However, the drivers side is takes about 25-30% more effort to turn by hand than the driver’s side. Noise sounds the same side to side. Both rear speed sensors have suddenly developed a small gear oil leak. I do have a rear diff breather relocation, maybe its clogged, i’ll check it next.

Any suggestions? Anyone think the rear bearings are gone already?

Any solid outdoor ranges around Baltimore that aren’t membership based? I only know about the one in Vienna by the beach.

Just finished some AR-15 builds and a AR-10, itching to shoot outside.

 

Depending one you’re “around Baltimore” is, Elk Neck state park in Cecil County has an outdoor range. There is a fee to shot there though.
