Just bring a cooler and join us around the campfire.

Finally bit the bullet and ordered the Pro Headlights. It was on my list of "things I wanted" but didn't get on my truck. So Pro LED lighting headlights and thinking of the SSD 3 MAX SAE fog lights to fill in that bottom light band to spot rocks, ditches, etc., a little better.

I kept thinking, "hold off any upgrades, look at a Tundra or F150" Now thinking, "built a teardrop camper, save money, enjoy the Tacoma."

We all lived in glorious times.

    That was an impressive read.

Some shorter "cannonball" runs started in Los Angeles, checkpoint north of Sacramento, then down to Los Vegas. Friends owned and leased Cadillac Ambulances. 500 CID engines, and with an oversized fuel tank. Beast of a vehicle and did reasonably well. Busted engine mounts every time (used chains around them to keep the engine from denting the hood).

Not a clue how I ever made it past 60!

The only thing, I was slow to restart and the installation started anyway.

What flavor drink is that Art. It is pretty cute for a specialty drink.

How does a Yoda taste? It does look good. I'll ask around.

What ledge. I don't see a ledge. Does anybody here see a ledge?

I have a funny recollection of my age. I was 5 until I was 16, then I was 16 until I hit 25. Something struck me and said, 'hey dummy, you're not 25 anymore!' Stayed there until 40 when a similar thunderbolt struck. Haven't been hit by the next one yet.

We had about 2 inches of snow in SE CT before it turned over to rain...which caused it to compress to about 1 inch of heavy wet slushy stuff...went out after lunch and pushed it off the driveway with a shovel (minimal lifting)...the afternoon temperatures went up to about 40°F and cleaned off the thin film of snow that was left following the driveway clearing...supposed to go down to the teens tonight.

    Be safe out there!!

My brother never let me drive the car. I was the driver in the family, and he was the mechanic. He was always afraid I'd break the car... but I never broke any of my own. But as you say, no clue how I made it past 60.

Caddy powered ambulances sound fun. They must have sucked the gas.

Good morning fellow Porchatonians and welcome to the porch @Blockhead !!

We ended up with about 2" of iced over slush that partially froze in places (probably was 4" of snow/sleet before the rain compressed it. Trying to shovel it off the sidewalks was a real chore - truly heart-attack snow. I waited for the temps to come up a bit and then used the ATV to plow our/my mother-in law's driveways.

I'll save the dryer fiasco for another day - new delivery date is Tuesday.

Stay safe and warm out there!

I keep watching those GMC Sierra commercials.. the one with the 10 speed Allison. I have no need for the truck, but it makes my foot tap.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gals! It's "improving weather day" today, with maybe 40* and rain. Tomorrow, we are promised the great yellow Orb is to return. One hopes so! We need to get outside for anything! SAD is setting in!
    Welcome again @Blockhead !

    Morning all:
Saw a groundhog cross the road this morning, sure sign that spring is on its way.

Funny y'all are mentioning Spring -- I swear there was something Spring-like in the air around here today too. It's about time.
