No. They are just culturally and politically (for now) different. Id actually like SC more, but Im pretty well rooted in NC to just up and move.

As it is right now. He did the final mud coat this morning, coming back sand later this week. Ive been sanding the other walls to prep for primer. Todays project is sanding the window trim.

There's a Nascar event going on in the next town over today so there's a bunch of F-18 fighter jets flying around in formation.

People on our community FB page are freaking the fuck out thinking it's Russia attacking lol.

 

There was a B-1 circling town here on Thursday.

Warplanes flying over isn't out of the ordinary. We're home to the Air Force Academy and a bunch of Army and Air Force bases, and I've seen B-2 and B-52 here before... but it was still eerie given the circumstances.

 

Well I mean the west coast makes sense until they hit the interior state line

Went out to the shop to work on the Sentra, ended up tearing into the blue truck instead.

 

And here on the east coast we dont texture walls usually. So theres an added difficulty to get it perfect.

 

It helps a ton to hide imperfections. I’ve done a few wall patches but always used the texture in a can.

 

Nextdoor is a hoot.

 

Yeah we've got a few big AF bases not too far from here, Edwards AFB probably being the closest out in the desert. See a lot of planes from there in occasion in this area. They do their practice runs out in Death Valley too, can catch a good show if you're out that way

 

Yeah no one except hotels and places with original textured plaster walls does that out here.

 

I don't think they'll bother sending planes over here in the unlikely event it comes to that. Much easier to launch big boom sticks instead
