Factory stock remote starter 2020 OR

I have been looking and can’t find anything on this topic. Can we disable the factory installed Toyota starter from shutting off when you unlock the door. It is a bit frustrating. If I am warming up my truck i should not need to restart it once I get into the truck. I know other manufactures set it up so you hit the button start button again once inside. But the truck remains running.

 

I am also interested if this is possible. I was able to have some changes made regarding seat belt chimes. I wonder if it could be a setting that a dealer could make? I never thought to ask about that, but my dealer offered some vehicle customization configuration as a one time offering.

 

I don’t believe anyone has figured out a bypass. The Toyota behavior sucks.

 

Been discussed a lot on here already. No workaround in Techstream that I have seen yet.

This is one of the stupidist computer engineers idea Toyota has. Now I get to use the starter twice all the time. Oh wait I think the parts guy came up with this great idea. Sorry Sr we don’t service that part anymore you need to upgrade to a new but really a old model.

 

Very popular question, but I keep seeing the same answer , which is no. I’d like to also double the run time and have the parking lights illuminate. Some say Techstream can do that, while others say not on a ‘21…
