True, rebuilding the knuckles is supposed to be an afternoon job but this is definitely not gonna be.

Looks like the axle housing is bent because the birfield is rubbing on the knuckle and making glitter, and the CV part of the birfield doesn't move freely due to said glitter

Well that sucks, that was a badass aircraft. Was used for a lot of humanitarian aid missions. @BartMaster1234

When our flight landed in Medford, OR last week there was so much fog on the ground that we didn't see the runway until a couple seconds before the wheels made contact. First time I've been in a plane landing in fog like that, was a bit unsettling lol.

 

I heard. It’s a damn shame.

I know they’ll probably fix it though. And there’s an unfinished one sitting in a hangar. It’s too valuable of a plane.

 

Fun fact:
Your pilot had to fly a plane whilst blindfolded when he was in training. Relying on instruments alone is no sweat for a seasoned pilot.

 

At this point id just chuck the new rear under it and treat it as a DD and maybe go camping in it

I used to have an insane appetite for projects and working on stuff til midnight after work was no big deal. I'd have been done with all of this, forever ago lol
