Thanks for all the well wishes. Last night while being monitored his heart stopped on two separate occasions for approximately 5 seconds each time. He is still in hospital and will be there until they do his surgery tomorrow or Tuesday. He’s getting a pacemaker then they will tackle the blockage. Not sure what the next steps are. Waiting on the cardiologist and all that good stuff. I wasn’t able to go see him today, hospital only allows 2 visitors per day and my sister and uncle both went. I did text him and he seems to be in good spirits but apprehensive. I would never say scared, because I’m not sure he understands fear. He’s 75 and not in the best shape but he has that old Marine mindset. Adapt, overcome, triumph. He’ll be okay. If not, I’ll carry him.

My dad passed at 74 a couple years ago , he was in the national guard back then.. my uncle Bud was 70 when he passed Marine in Vietname( tanker man) very much closer to my unc loved dat guy
