Factory AM/FM cassette; Once again, this a Japanese-spec radio, so it didn't get anything but static...




I picked up what sounded like a talk show on this frequency, but it was too staticky to understand...

 

This odometer readings translates to just over 100K miles; The diesel 4-banger ran great!

 

This is obviously an oil change reminder, but I don't know why it has two mileages listed...

Odd that there's a CD selector button on the top right of the unit as well as the CD logo to the left of the cassette slot. Could there be a hidden CD insertion slot?

 

CD changer control; CD changer was an extra-cost option if the customer wanted it...

Refueling a Delica L400 is not unlike refueling a Ford Transit or a Ram Promaster; The L400 was low on gas (and unbeknownst to any of us, coolant), so the guy at DelicaUSA gave me a twenty to fill it up!

 

They are cool, 4wd suspension Factory is really odd. I like it.
none of the Mitsubishi truck motors were great. The V6 was meh at best and had some valvetrain problems. 2.5 diesel I've heard is really solid.
2.6 4g54 is probably the most versatile and easiest to get parts for, however slow as slow can be.
This mighty max is mine.
I saw a delica and talked to the owner last month, she loves the thing and doesnt mind it being slow.

These vans actually share a lot of their underpinnings with US-spec Mitsubishi Monteros!

 

That would be an L400, which debuted for the 1994 model; Production of the L400 overlapped with the boxier previous generation L300 for a couple of years...

 

My best friend and I went to CarShop to look around and I found this potential gem on the wholesale lot; 2013 Suzuki SX4 AWD 6-speed!
