Okay new plan. Remove passenger seat, install this

Plumb up to oil filter. Now you can do filter changes WHILE YOUR DRIVING, without having to stop AND still maintain proper lubrication.

 

You have 3 different engines from 2 manufacturers, and zero engineering data. I’m glad Dino oil has worked, and it will likely continue to do so. That doesn’t make the advantages of synthetics irrelevant.

 

My 3rz has 275k on synthetic oil only. Proof positive that synthetics are better

 

Back in the early 2000s some people were really going nuts with Amsoil and multiple filter setups. So much plumbing

I bet some still do.

 

Hell yeah brother they even make a bypass filter setup for tacomas

 

Surprised we don’t see people doing coolant filter rigs with how this forum is sometimes

 

I use synthetic in my vehicle that came with it new. What I did not do was ever 'switch' to it in the older vehicles (scam)

 

I was gonna set one up after using head gasket tabs in the cooling system but settled for flushing the radiator out with the hose when the engine was out

Yes, or I can acknowledge the objective advantages of synthetics and their associated longer oil change intervals.

 

I like super tech conventional because the valve train noise at 3-3500 mi tells me it's time

I couldn’t even find conventional last time I looked. I just get syn at Costco by the box, it’s cheap and easy.

Did you ever find suitable diesel oil?

 

Man, the Costco oil is a great deal for sure.

I ended up buying AMSOIL, somehow it was cheaper than Shell/Mobil1/Valvoline offerings where I could find them in stock lawl

 

That’s wild. I ran rotella t in my bike and it was available everywhere for pretty decent prices. I wonder what caused the shift.
