Lots of $1000-$1200 Tacomas out there, too.

    upload_2022-2-27_22-34-1.jpg

My favorites are the ones with nonsense descriptions--features and specs that don't make sense if you know anything about the vehicle. Like this PreRunner with four wheel drive.

You're right. It would be no fun to own a vehicle like that. I mean, what would we talk about?

It's even funner if you look at the details...

Every body panel is trashed. The 22r is seized "but mostly complete". It doesn't even have all four wheels. They're basically selling a set of axles under a pile of scrap metal. upload_2022-2-27_22-43-58.jpg

I wonder if we’ve sufficiently derailed it yet

I read the first post, peaced out, haven't looked back. Am I missing anything worth going back for?

Raton is one of the few places I've been to in New Mexico. It's the closest Amtrak station to Philmont.

Ironically, I remember being impressed at how well-preserved the old vehicles around there were.

It’s not a bad little town. Decent food, a grocery store, and the best damn Car Quest on the planet. We’d call them up and say we need a steering box for some vague 60s-70ish 2 ton chevy hay truck and they’d have the right one pronto.

I got stuck there one night when the train home was delayed. Whoever owned the movie theater missed out on a booming night of business. They could have played any movie they wanted and had 100 Scouts pay just to sit in the air conditioning for two hours.

I've been there and I can say it's the least abused Toyota in Raton
