Refs did a wonderful job for the lightning tonight.

 

yep...the Sh**tstorm has definitely overflowed the borders...but hockey makes it all go away!!!

 

Who shit in Marchands cornflakes yesterday. Punching the goalie in frustration is one thing and swinging your stick at him while a linesman is dangling off you is a whole separate level. Not that I think he really meant to hurt Jari but double digits isn't out of the question on this. It's just such a stupid play on a protected player.

 

I think he still was on the rag from whatever happened at the end of the 2nd period. Jarry had a puck on his stick and was intending to flip it to a fan. Marchand, the douche came by and knocked the puck off Jarry's stick, which generated a reply from Jarry. He must of still been butt sore from that. Why a player would prevent another player from giving a puck to a fan, probably a kid, in his own home rink is beyond me, but that is just the kind of jagoff Marchand is.

Matthews running himself into the crossbar is something I don't think I've ever see. No push from behind or off-balance he just went mouth-first into it. Ouch. Hope he's ok.

As far as the game, Pens looked bad/sloppy. Sid letting Matthews go in all alone, less than 30secs into the game, is not the start I was looking for lol. Campbell played his ass off though.

That was his 350th win, right? I love Quick, so I got no problem with that lol.

 

He is playing well this season because he is healthy. He remains that way the Kings are contenders. Cal is too spotty. I’m guessing Blake will trade for a back up before the deadline. Fleury?

I expected Cal to take another step this year and he did regress instead. Sucks.
