So noticed this when I got to work this morning.
Restarting my Kenwood head unit seemed to fix it.
    Anyone had this intermittent issue?

Just curious. How do you illuminate the plate at night? (to keep LEO happy.)

Might have been a magnet getting too close to the electron guns or a solar flair.

    Sweet!

Great job Tim. And a little training for when you install the OEM LED Headlights!

I’m leaning towards 5% on all 5 windows and then 50% on the windshield. Yeah 35% looks good but it’s sketchy at night. Even worse at night in the rain. At that point you are guessing what’s infront of you.

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
I would check with local municipal and state laws regarding tint.
Here in Ontario there are set limits to darkness.

It amazes me that OEMs can object to making changes that can only increase longevity rather than hurt it.

I usually go as dark as legally allowed. I don't get putting tint on the windshield though. Maybe I don't need to get it.

Plausible... But I'm already having a hard enough time seeing traffic lights and overhead signage with the big sensor pod over the rearview mirror and the low roofline (I'm also tall). Everywhere else I'm all about tinting as much as legally allowed but that one is one mod I think I'll pass on, right up there with Pro Grille's and Raptor lights. Just not my thing.

same here...I need to do my driver and passenger side front doors, but would never do the windshield...

but there are things needed before the tinting as well...tonneau cover, new shoes, molle panels to quell the OCD/organizational thing....better fog lights...

There is one more reason as well....Ear cancer. The tint can stop the UV rays from causing ear cancer. Personally, I do not like heavily tinted windows either but when I heard that the left ear of older folks get ear cancer due to driving with the sun beating down on their left ear the tint doesn't seem that objectionable now to me.
