Agreed. and Same here. I’ve slowly gravitating to the cruiser style. While they are nice, it’s not me.

I have thought about going back to the DRZ400, but been there and done that. She’s a little over 320ish wet I think. Will say still fun up there in the hills. Just gearing isn’t the best, but still works. Heck, I might just do it again, who knows. While the carb’s bike can be fun with air box mods and re-jetting. I am determined to go EFI this time around. Still need to see if the 21, KTM 390 Adv is across town to check out.

Best thing I’ve heard all day. Hahahahahaha

Agreed. Dang thing is so old it’s grandfathered in for the emissions stuff. Now, I give credit to Kawasaki for the new EFI on the KLR 650. But that beast is a heavy mofo in my opinion.

    wanna be mods
    Also, @Mojo Jojo @3pooches
Firestone called me yesterday re: the 2nd attempt at the civic alignment (post replacement driver tie rod end and retorquing all the new items).
    • First words were, "Well, we finally got it aligned." Followed by, the technician did not feel safe attempting an initial test drive based on backing it out and driving to the front of the parking lot (maybe 175 ft.)
    • They got the alignment "all in the green" but your left tie rod end barely has any thread remaining and the right tie rod end has over an inch of extra threads.
    • Went ahead and checked the brakes, they appeared fine/installed correctly (I know I break shit, but come on now!), so the tech took it out for a test drive after the alignment, and noted that both front tire/wheels could be hand rotated.
      • After the test drive, the left side would no longer hand rotate, which was typically an indicator that the caliper is going bad, and to keep an eye on that...
I will have to get it up to DDD after I confirm she's interstate worthy...I will admit the second drive out to Firestone was far sketchier than the first round trip, so quite possibly looking at a :boom:just driving it the 30 miles home!

Do you think they didn’t have the rack centered when adjusting the toe? Unless something is bent or wrong, being almost out of threads on a tie rod shouldn’t occur. The only issue before was the incorrect cv length right?

If I get something it will be geared toward the dirt since I already have a street bike. I'm intrigued with the KTM390, sounds like it's got some giddy up in the throttle

So are we all trying to have some sort of dirt machine by this upcoming meet up?

Nah, just wishful thinking on my end. I’m still not sure if I can make out there.

Last time I played in dirt with 2 wheels was 6 months ago and I separated my AC joint, so I know I would hurt myself lol

This was suppose to be a chart comparing motorcycle safety to enjoyment. 2 wheels is right where it’ll always be, on the edge hah.

Not sure, but the JK ran side by side with the JL in 2018 (both in production and on the road).

I've noticed that in my research. Makes little sense.
