They say it’s non serviceable, let’s see how accurate that is.

Aftermarket are different sizes usually. I think a 27 and a strips-all is what I typically use.

you should check to make sure your AC drain is not plugged up. That could be the source of water.

A/C drain plug would (generally) fill the passenger foot well, not the driver. Still could be this though, if the water was carried along through the ducting, so worth checking.

If it's on the driver side only, I'd think it would be one of:
    • leaky windshield
    • water coming in through the grommet that is in the firewall near where the clutch would be on a manual transmission. I know you don't have the clutch @ijm01PR, but have a look up there to see if the grommet is well sealed around the wires that are coming through. I had a leak there on my (nearly the same as a Taco) 3rd gen 4Runner. When it rained, water just happened to drip down that area from the engine compartment and then into the cab where it collected in the foot well.

The drain plug comes out the firewall on the passenger side. It is a little rubber tube that is maybe ~3" long. From the inside passenger foot well, you can pull the rug back a bit and see this (photo below). The black thing in the middle is where the evap core drains down the chute and then out a rubber hose that goes through the firewall there. From below the engine bay, carefully pushing a coat hanger up into the tube - just enough to clean out the ~5" of hose, you don't want to puncture the evap core - will help to ensure that it isn't clogged.

I had that same leak from the firewall grommet by the clutch. Took me a while to figure out where it was coming from.

In other news drove the truck for the first time this winter. Went to go buy a thing.

Careful with your tailgate if you plan on hauling it like that often. My T100 gate is pretty bent from hauling sleds

Yeah I was really worried about that. Do you have any suggestions to help mitigate that? I know trailer is ideal but thats not gonna happen in the immediate future.

I agree. My truck was originally that color but some PO decided to paint it red instead. Wish it was still that color

Installed my JBA's the other day. Went fairly smooth, though I do think soaking it daily a few weeks prior in PB Blaster helped a lot. Having the right tools to do the job also helped. Still need to put my 882s in...Snapchat-1316744048.jpg

I used a bed extender and some pallet wood to extend the bed floor. Makes it easier to bank load since the rear tires will be plenty far from the base of the bank. I'll post a pic in the snowmobile thread if I remember later.

I mean it seems fine, the trucks sat out in the sun for a couple years now and hasn’t faded, bent with the metal when I hit a deer. I would spray it on instead of roll if I did it again

Got tired of getting filthy every time I opened the hood so I degreased and cleaned the heck out it. Twice. Undercarriage is next. PO did a lot of dirt road driving so it’s pretty gnarly under there.
