    Found out after I bought this remote that my truck doesn't have the correct ECU..
    OEM 3 button remote, $20, and you pay shipping.

    how come when i click on the "x" in my previous post, the gallery comes up..
    Also, How come I can take a small engine apart blindfolded, and make it run, but I can't make a damn picture appear in a post!!!!?[​IMG]

    Magic...of a 12 year old showing me how to do this...after 40, your brain is full..

    I just bought one and it works fine....Programming it was strange opening and closing doors inserting keys and removing it LOL Took about 5 tries to get the sequence right.... but it worked

    I'd like to buy this if previous guy backs out, however...Would this work for my '10 Access cab??
    I only have power locks, as it's just a base model 2.7, 5spd Prerunner & I was hoping that I could add one of these remote entry key fobs.

    The only way that I found out that it wouldn't work is calling the dealer with my vin #, and asking if I had keyless entry..Otherwise, there is a fuse in the fusebox labeled keyless entry...misleading. I thought most tacos had the same wiring harness, and the base just didn't have the terminal devices, like intermittent wipers, overhead console, etc..so I would recommend calling your dealership.
