Hello Taco World, thought I'd introduce myself before asking my questions. I've been a lurker on TacomaWorld for a bit after purchasing a 21 Tacoma OR about a year back and I've recently decided that I wanted to get my truck a new pair of shoes for a bit of a beefy look and decided to ask my questions here since I've seemed to be overwhelmed by all the information about different tires, offsets, suspension brands, tire sizes, etc. and I am by no means knowledgeable within these things, so I'd have a friend/shop install the shocks/lift and discount tire handling the tires and rims.
I would mainly be off roading with this truck during the weekends doing easy/medium type trails but during the week I'd be doing city/highway driving to run errands/work/school so tire noise and MPG is crucial.
Since this is my first post please let me know if anything needs to be changed/fixed to better suit the forum templates if there is one.
To lay out what I eventually plan to do over the next few years, I do eventually want to add a CBI full underbody skidplate for protection against rocks and cat thieves aswell as a bed rack and front bumper. I also occasionally haul a small trailer to transport a quad to the dunes aswell as sometimes just throw it into my bed (Which won't happen after the bed rack gets added). I'm mentioning this because with some of my research I was told that weight would be an issue when it comes to shocks/lifts.

Now, lets get started. For the rims I'm pretty much dead set on the bronze Method 305 NV, but that brings me over to tires. I was watching a few of Chloe Kuo's video's and I've thought about the BFGoodrich KO2 but I wanted to ask you guys who own these how bad the noise would be while running around town and I'm also open for suggestions of other brands that may perform better in the sound/MPG/off road situations.
As for tire size I'm completely going in circles when it comes to thinking about going for 32" or 33" without having the tire rub and make too much noise on the highway, and completely butcher my MPG.
I've been thinking about 275/70/R17's for the 32" or 285/70/R17's for the 33" again with the BFGoodrich KO2, again thinking about off road performance along with MPG and sound while highway driving.

Lastly suspension/lift. I haven't done too much research on this part so please bare with me. I was leaning towards Bilstein B8 5100 and hopefully getting them to achieve 2" of lift aswell as being able to level the truck and make room for the tires not to rub on the vehicle.

Again, I'm not too experienced with tires/suspension's so I would appreciate any advice or corrections that need to be done aswell as anything else that I'd have to purchase to achieve my goals. Thanks yall.
