Did I buy a girly truck? Weigh in.
And what else do I need or not know yet that I want?

We had a friend over who said, man that’s a rad truck. I grinned and said he’ll yea! and then husband said yea I guess.

I was floored. He said, we’ll it’s not what I would have bought.

He only seems to not like the scooped hood. And maybe the grill. But that’s all cosmetic and changeable!

    What the heck.
As of today this is my truck. and now I’m making list of what I want to do.
I want to: match the tint so dark back matches front,
get some running board side steps-been lurking threads and think I want tygers like this https://www.amazon.com/Tyger-Auto-TG-RS2T40158-2005-2019-Running/dp/B01AH5J80U?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1

what else do I need for MY truck?6330B8A1-9FD6-4987-AED7-53F441CD973C.jpg

Here is my 89 hilux too.

You most definitely didn't get a girly truck. These tacomas are freaking awesome and your husband is definitely smoking something.

If you'd like to get rid of that hood, I have a 2016 TRD off road (black). We would both have to get the hoods re painted to match, but I'm in Washington (tri cities) so it could be done as long as 2016 and 2020 hoods are the same profile!

I’ll think about that. I was looking at the hood swap post and people were saying best route is to find the same color to swap. But gen 3 hoods should all fit. Wonder what a paint job would cost…?
So I’ll keep ya in mind!

It's not going to be cheap. I was pricing out painting a new hood a few months ago and it was around 1-1.2k at a highly recommend shop.

I'd probably keep the charcoal color for a while haha.

Mine also definitely has some chips that have been touched up with a paint pen, but if you get it re painted then that won't matter lol.

Yeah, what's his deal? This is concerning behavior. You should keep an eye on him to make sure he isn't hanging around with those Ridgeline guys; they are nothing but trouble.
