How are the Nittos? Do they feel heavy? Affect mpg much?

They rode great on the way home. Mpgs seemed very similar. Maybe dropped by .5 or so. Also I got the nittos in a standard load so they feel pretty light, along with the pro wheels being pretty light themselves.

I tried to order from Greenville Toyota and Crown Toyota. These were the entire struts and shocks (all 4). Dealerships states that they could only sell it with the entire kit (grill, sensor, shocks, struts, block, etc.)

Any places still have the sale going on? Looks like parts might be increasing in price and/or hard to find, so debating ordering a kit now while I can to have on hand for the spring. Was going to wait until winter finished up so they weren't sitting in my garage, but might be worth getting them now.

I'm thinking I might get the parts and have a 4x4 shop do the suspension components (with a new leaf pack or AAL instead of the block in the rear), and then I can do the grill replacement and such myself. Then the only thing I'd need a dealer for is to do the sensor calibration, if even necessary, right?

Honestly for the TSS you don't really need to calibrate it. Hundreds of people add the Pro grill without having it calibrated and it works. The only thing you might really need to do is add some washers to the top screws in the sensors to aim it down a little.

Today's the day. I can hardly wait, this is my first "major" mod. I like how the ride is supposed to be better than the stock O/R suspension on pavement. Now the question is what other wheels/tires to go with.

I overpaid for the kit but the labor was $680 or something for five hours, I forget exactly, so not too bad OTD. I would have bought from Pablo's link if I had known and saved a few hundred, definitely recommend if you can find it for about a grand shipped.

Has anyone made a complete parts list for this kit? I would like to only purchase the suspension components including blocks. I wish they would install these on a long bed.

Congrats! I did the same last week, it was about $2200, I also sold my old grill, so it covered a little - I think the drive is a lot smoother but the cornering is a little more wobbly. Overall I am pretty happy. I like that it looks stock, not a big lift where someone knows you lifted the truck. I am still sporting the stock OR wheels and tires, I may change them both, I am not sure yet.

Awesome! I think a solid set of 32s would get me anywhere on this continent I would like to be, and depending on the 33, you could make it fit but there are compromises to be made.

Ideally, I would like to have a set of super light 16s and all season/highway tires for general use/dirt roads/efficiency and swap out to stock wheels or ones with beads and M/T or A/Ts as needed for fun or "SHTF". I've been eyeing the newer Cooper M/Ts as they are pretty light for the class, studdable, and seem to do well in many conditions. I get sloppy mud and moderate winter slush here on some sketchy mountain roads, so it might be solid for this application.

The guys told me that they might need more time than 5 hours today. I told them to please not rush and if it takes until tomorrow, so be it. Confirmed they are only charging me for five hours. Oh well. If anything breaks because of them, at least it's covered and am fortunate enough to have a second vehicle.

Mine took about 6 hours, but they also replaced my TSS, because it came in the box. So I have my orginal one.

I asked them to give me all the old parts back because some guys here are interested in them. I've got 2300 miles on the OEM suspension and haven't gone off road or even the interstate for that matter. They should replace it. They'll probably keep the old sensor on the old grille in one piece I imagine.

I dropped it off when they opened at 9:00AM after making the appointment weeks ago, they said they're slammed so we shall see.

exactly my idea as well (1st part is done) now for the decision on 16 vs 17 wheel size and appropriate tire.. leaning towards the 255 (skinny 32") 17s..

Just sold my grill, and I have for sale the Sensor and the Shocks. I guess we will see if they sell.

Exactly. I was thinking something slightly smaller all around for the light wheels, apparently LE3s are 31lbs in 245/70/16 and an 18lb wheel would take off more than 10lbs a corner. I haven't looked into 17s yet. I would love TE37s but that price tag has diminishing returns.

Wouldn't want to use the TE37s in rough rocky off-road..

I've got his set up for my street, winter and light offroad use

265/75-16 in 31.6" Michelin Defenders (39lbs) mounted on 16x8 zero offset Konig Countersteers (17 lbs) which weigh 4lbs less per assembly over the stock TRD offroad wheels and tires.

Thinking lightweight 17" wheels, maybe FN six shooters, with the 255 32" diameter dedicated offroad tires.

Having the same debate myself, I want to do 285/70/17s but I also don't want to deal with a ton of rubbing with the 2 inch lift so I'm not sure how I'm going to proceed. Any insight from anyone on here would be awesome!
