Haha I think you’re right. I play basketball every Tuesday night and I was running after the guy I was defending and took just a hair too large of a step and caught the back of his heal as he was cutting and rolled the hell out of my ankle

Thanks man. I’m getting an X ray today just to 100% rule out any breakage. I can put weight on it and I don’t feel pain in the bone itself. Pretty sure it’s just soft tissue damage/ligaments. The only thing im nervous about finding out today is how much potential time off my podiatrist is going to want me to take lol

The wooooorst part of all of this is that this happened Tuesday night and im supposed to be going snowboarding tomorrow with my wife for our 10 year wedding anniversary and I went and effed up that plan

if you can put weight on it without pain, its probably ok, as far breaks are concerned, though its good youre getting it checked, because pain is not a great indicator of damage. (I fractured my collarbone in two while skiing, and didn't think it was serious, because I could still work as a ski instructor, and drive a stick shift truck, and do a bunch of other things with what was "only" moderate pain, as an example... lol)

but sucks you almost definitely wont be able to snowboard this weekend.

Sorry for your loss. enjoy SB.

Set of sliders built and installed for someone who isn’t a member here. He wanted them built out a couple more inches than my standard set to be used as sliders and a good step to use

Dang didn't see this. Hope you recovered and all is well!

Last year when I broke my elbow mountain biking, it was on my daughter's birthday. My lady is still pissed I missed her bday. Things like that usually happen at the most inopportune times.
