I was thinking engine misfire, but if that’s been ruled out torque converter seems like a safe bet.

Whats low speed? Like 5 mph or 25 mph? My second gen had a vibrating driveshaft at 20k miles.

That’s a giant leap of faith. What other evidence is there that the torque converter is bad?

I specifically asked the service advisor about this as I had read about that issue on this forum, he said it's an issue on 2nd gen's he's seen in the 2005-12 range, never seen it on a 3rd gen but it was on the list of things to check along with motor mount and others. It was shuddering between 20-40MPH. When I would shift the transmission manually the symptoms would go away, but i was also shifting @ ~3K RPM like I would if it were a manual transmission

I'm only in for $50 so far. What else do those symptoms point to?

Its not motor mounts. You will feel the driveshaft under your ass. You will feel a misfire in the steering wheel or front of truck. You need to find a better mechanic who can diagnose it in like 2 seconds.

It could be lots of things or nothing. Random people on the internet can only guess. You need to ask the mechanic specifically what the issue is with the torque converter.

In before anyone claims the 100k warranty is a waste of money lol.
