Guy I know found this and bought it recently, all original with 45,000 miles. Think he said it’s a 1966. Austin Heeley, however you spell it.

Not bad in todays market for a clean and uncommon car.
Seems people want 5K for an old truck sitting in a field anymore :annoyed:... with no :censored: title...

I'm heading up to my car collector client tomorrow. Getting one or two of his C3 Corvettes ready for a photo shoot/ commercial. I'll post some pics.

Holy fuck knuckle, that's in amazing shape! A big healey in good nick brings a lot of dough, upwards of 20-30k for the right year/options.

Spend three years on British forums and groups in the process of restoring an Austin healey Sprite and a MG midget... it rubs off on the bonnet.

Any of you guys do the needle bearing elimination mod where you replace it with the ecgs clamshell bushing? Very common on here done after a lift to reduce noise/vibes. I don't have any vibes, do have a slight roar that may just be the Mud terrains but I'm on the fence.
One side of me says do it before you need it, while you're replacing the cv, the other side says why fix it if it's not broken?

To eliminate the tires temporally over inflate them and drive on the same stretch of road where the noise is observed, a noticeable change would indicate the noise is from the tires.

If you’ll have the CV out anyway, why not? :D

I have done over 20 of them now. :D

One way to try and narrow it down is pop it in 4Hi while driving straight. Only under 60mph and NO turns. If the noise/vibration goes away, it's for sure the needle bearing.
