This project is moving so slowly… Next week should be finished

 

Nope more problems. No available other pump will work with the new tacoma brushless fuel pump. The computer controls the pump and fuel pressure. We put the stock fuel pump in and sending unit. Now just plumb it like stock. I should be rolling here shortly

 

Just motoring along. Some fab guys just take forever. Slowly moving forward.. all smog is plumed into the fuel cell. Just need to mount the bed finish the inner fender wells build the rock sliders.

 

Build is awesome. You need to convince Toyota Corporate to sell them like this new off the lot.

 

I think there 43’’ They used Solo Motorsports short canoe arms.and there tacoma frame mounts 32 gallon tank from Solo.

 

This interests me.

 

Ok so update truck is standing on its own, brakes work. And the new Locar park lok holds the truck killer . Had to dump the e brake cable lines. Didn’t really work with the 4-link. I’ll probably drill and tap some clamps to hold the brakes lines on the top arm and the axle vent tube on the other top arm instead of all the zip ties.

 

And moving along got the sliders designed today. Truck is almost ready to fly .

 

Designed the inner fender well. Just a little at a time here. Looks like I’ll have to get the fender wrapped again. Had to cut to make the room for the 40’’. We’ll see what gets done tomorrow..

 

Did Raceline powder coat these wheels red or did you outsource this?

 

I order them from Raceline like that. You can chose any color you want

 

O man so close. We’re going to powder coat the sliders and the inner fender wells. Final assembly on Wednesday. Downloaded the latest tune from maggy they just sent. I now call it my “build back better Toy… ha ha

 

Going with a professional fabricator was a great move. Looks really good.

 

Ready to take delivery tomorrow. And it sucks that I have to work all weekend. All sealed up what a ton of work. NExt will be taking it to the shock tuner then fix the wrap.

 

Truck is still evolving…

 

Thanks Warfab ! All it takes is money. And I learned a good life lesson.

 

The lesson was I blew 10k thinking I was a fabrocation expert. Then pay around 37k to cut all that off and have a professional make my dream a reality. Finding your boundaries in life ‘priceless’ lesson learned.. With all the fab shops booked at 125$ an hour for one off custom fabrocation. Goes quick ! 2k canoes,4K rear shocks ,7k supercharger,1k gas tank ,front &rear skids 1k, rock sliders custom 1 off 1800, inner fender wells1k , and then labor bill for 5 months of Ryan working on it to put all this Stuff on there and keep a full truck bed. 17k ..I use the truck to haul trash, pick up concrete at Home Depot, I have a life just like everyone and I need my bed for my crap. The other lesson was dealing with my wonderful understanding wife. I have had 5 heart surgery’s to keep me alive. So I always resort to pulling I’m dying and need this card….She is the best. Your life is an occasion. Rise to it.

 

Truck looks great, I always wanted to do that livery on my truck. The only thing I would change is the wheels, same wheel but just a polished finish, but that's just my personal opinion. And about the money, you only live once right, and from the sounds of your surgeries you know all about that! Enjoy your truck, I know I'd have a stupid grin on my face every morning walking out to the driveway and seeing that thing sitting there.
