Yeah, but I looked pretty silly running in circles trying to pin the tail on myself....

It is!! It snowed last night like 8" or so and the wind is just stirring things up...the plow trucks can't keep up with it to keep the roads clear. I was pushing snow with my skid plate at one point on the highway. And it was icy. Saw one car that had slid off of the road this morning and then another that flipped. Everyone was OK but I definitely backed down on the speed a bit after seeing that...and put Toy in 4x4.

I didn't run off the road *knock on wood* just put Toy in 4x4, turned off cruise, and backed down to about 50mph (speed limit is 70). I didn't want to go any slower for fear of getting stuck!

And I've seen Texans driving in the rain  WTF is up with the 3pm rain storms everyday!?!?! One of my more vivid memories from my visit to Houston was driving on the highway (610 I think) and traffic was crazy, it was raining and there was about 3" of standing water on the road when one of those plastic igloo-shaped doghouses comes flying out of the back of a truck right at us. I was so scared!! We managed to avoid the damn thing somehow!

YIKES! I've seen all sorts of stuff lying along the roads here...not too much in the road though. Lots of coolers, a stray piece of firewood...all fairly easy to maneuver around.

And yes...I like to think I know a thing or two. Been driving for 15 years in all sorts of weather (mostly in Toys :)) so I know my limits and my trucks limits very well.

Evening...what's the worst and or oddest driving obstacle you've seen on the road?

In my home town we had a wealthy family that had giraffes for their kids, and one day those got out... that was probably the oddest thing i have seen on the road

You always have TW to keep you company

Giraffes? What kind of a pet is that? You can't play with it, walk it...

was the tiger a pet too?

the worst that I've come across was a semi truck carrying 2x4's...he took a curve too fast and flipped. It was a mess. Oh, and a truck carrying bananas that flipped. There were bananas scattered for 1/2 a mile down the interstate.
