E4C58D0B-AE8C-4CA9-A59D-8C071455FF98.jpg I just installed the Heigh 10 by Stinger Off-road. I was looking for anyone who has this system and installed front and side cameras. What cameras you used and what you think of them.

Everything about the system is great. You don’t loose any steering controls like other system. The sound control is amazing. The backup view is so much clearer. It works with the installed USB port. I installed it myself and the directions were a little bit confusing at first but got thru it. Any message you receive is read to you. You can reply by speaking back. Use the installed mic on the Heigh 10 because it’s closer to you.

Just about any camera with an RCA end should work.
Just go with the camera style/housing that fits where you're putting it.
Crimestopper-300 or 400 seemed to sell well when I worked at a distributor and theres also BOYO.
If its a front or rear camera get as close to a 180 degree camera that you can.

Hey man, do you mean the mic actually on the unit? Or one of their included extra mics? I just ordered a Heigh10 and looking for any info before I dive into the install...

Yeah... I sort of noticed that after I pulled the trigger. But wireless CarPlay is a little wonky on my wife's BMW. Maybe it will be much more solid tethered...

You will definitely love it. I found a front camera that fits into the Toyota emblem on the grill.

The internal mic is closer to you so it works better than the OEM mic.

Thanks @Sully285367 ! That's exactly what I did. Seems to work great... now if I can just figure out how to load custom bg images... the unit won't read the images when I select BG image- when I "browse" them via USB they pop up fine. Strange...

I'm interested! Where did you guys buy from? I saw that tacomabeast has them as does Amazon, but OEM plugs thing is a time saver for me. Also, for those who have installed it, is it easy to plug in the factory mirror cameras and oem microphone in the headliner?

Has the camera resolution been fixed with the factory camera or are you using a different camera? Awhile back people were saying the stock reverse camera was real blurry...

There’s a wire kit that comes with the Tacoma package from PAC. It’s completely plug and play. There are four camera plugs with trigger wires.

PAC audio. They are the company that put together the installation kit for the heigh10. When you get the HEIGH10 there’s two boxes inside the one large box. One is from PAC Audio.
