What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Finally got around to putting my printed Midland 75-822 clip mount in the truck. Now to re-run the antenna cable to the passenger foot well.

 

Getting everything in order to clean the MAF and Throttle bottle and PCV valve. I noticed the MAF is only like 10 dollars more than the spray... Wouldnt it just be easier to replace the MAF than clean it? Am I missing something? That's what I'm going to do with the PCV valve

In all seriousness, I dig the way it looks, sounds and the tickle it gives my butt dyno, it does feel as if there’s a bit more pep.


Also, my TRD cat back sounds more lively.
Super satisfied with the aFe intake!
Oh, and I snatched this bitch up new for $275 with free shipping.

I ordered some bitchin decals to customize it a bit too, will post once they arrive.

Edit:
There is a bit of a gap between the fender well and the box intake hole, not much but enough to slip a finger through around some parts. Bought some weather stripping foam and sealed that nonsense off.

Nothing major, just added a white ajt knob for my 4x4 switch. Wanted white to differentiate it a bit, and cause I can..... next up is 12-15 oem tails, and hopefully more interior parts. Just need to find a crashed accesscab tacoma.

What is the Kazoo noise? I've heard this mentioned a few times on the forum.
Edit: Just saw some other posts asking same question with a video. Interesting.

The kazoo is terrible. Luckily its an easy fix supposedly whether you buy the re-engineered weather strips or the cheaper solution. The noise is terrible though. I first experienced it leaving the tire shop the day after I bought my truck thinking there was a critical failure happening lol. You have to have all windows cracked or the radio volume at 45 to drone it out or get rid of it. Between it and the super white paint I almost traded in my truck before I realized there was a solution. That being said I only really notice it on the freeway. My current commute doesn't use the freeway but my new commute later this month will have me fixing the issue later this month I'm sure.

 

Put some vinyl on the hood scoop to deflect the terrible glare.
Clearanced the lines off my steering box from engine bay body panel

 

Truck is home . new rocker panels/ cab corners . X-mat on the floor . Sliders and hitch blasted and Raptor lined . New gas tank straps . Going to work on cleaning up door hinges when the weather gets warmer .

 

Warmed up to 30 degrees so went for a little cruise to the lake.

 

Guessing that wasn't 30 Celsius.

 

Backorders have arrived!

Where are you finding these at and whats the price roughly. Is it a quick install?

You have any other pictures of your truck from different angles? I'm debating on painting my rear bumper SSM to color match or black.

 

How much darker are these compared to the TRD Sport headlights? I know the Sports are darker than the SR5.
