Went to see the family & got a much needed
car wash (tipped the fellas properly.) There aren’t any quality car washes where I’m usually residing so I capitalized on the sunny day and early morning.

At my work there are a couple of psycho seagulls that like to hang out on peoples vehicles. They peck away at wheels, fender wells, fenders you name it. Sometimes they will nest on my tonneau cover and crap everywhere. Once I caught one on the cover pecking away at its reflection on my back window! It left a bunch of white marks on the glass as though it had dipped its beak in its own crap! o_O They also like to hang out at our break room door and peck away while screeching at the top of their lungs. :annoyed:

Are those Method 701's that I see??? It's hard to tell, but those look like either the Method 701 or 703! Whatever they are, That's a GOOD looking rig!!

Also, what size tires are those? I like how that size looks on your rig, and I'm thinking about going something similar on my rig.

I always have to keep my eye out for 701. So far you are the ONLY other Tacoma I have seen with black 701's. I've seen one Tacoma with a set of bronze 701's, but nobody else with black until right now!

Thanks guys. Tires are 265/75/16 (Duratracs) on stock suspension. Gonna upgrade the suspension eventually but I still have to add skid plates, roof rack, front bumper etc. so waiting to add some more weight before swapping out the suspension.

Gotcha Gotcha. It might just be the angle, but your tires look way bigger than stock, almost like they're 33s. Must be the angle or something. I'm in the same boat as you. going to upgrade eventually, but I need to do skid plates, front bumper, lighting, and some other stuff before I lift it. I also have another 40,000 miles to go until my KO2s are dead, so I have a little bit of time to do everything else first.

Ok, that's nasty. And really funny.

Making me regret my 265/65 tire choice. :boink: lol

Same here. I'm running 265/65/17 right now, and the only reason is that my factory tires were literally showing wire through, so I needed new tires ASAP, and the ONLY size that they had that would fit the methods I got was a set of 265/65/17 KO2. Lack of planning on my end is really biting me in the ass right now, and I have to live with my consequences for the next 40,000 miles.

Waiting on Method 705s.. should be any day now. I was really nervous about what size would fit.. so I defaulted to the stock size. I don't have a lift.. so I figured I'd be safe there.

Definitely not a bad idea at all. Some people say you can fit 33'' with no rubbing, some say you can't, so on so on so on. Stock size, you'll also get way better mileage. Definitely something handy to keep in mind if your miles are mostly highway/travel miles. One of my friends has an almost carbon copy of my truck, except his is on a 3'' lift with 35'' tires, and he's averaging 11mpg on the highway, and about 9 around town, while I'm on stock size, and I'm getting around 20mpg on the highway, and about 16-17 around town. Since I put the methods and KO2s on about 6 months ago, I've already slapped 12,000 miles on the truck, so my fuel savings is going into the penny fund for a new front bumper and lights!!

Not saying that the mileage is the end of the world, because obviously bigger tires look way too good, but it's definitely nice not spending literally twice the amount on gas whenever I drive anywhere.
