What is the amount of weight that would make a leaf pack necessary? I'm admittedly ignorant when it comes to leafs but I know I'll have the UpTop Bed Rack (that seems to be lighter than most), a RTT weighing in at about 140, prinsu, couple molles, skid plate, and when my wife and I are sleeping in the tent you're talking 315 lbs combined between the two of us.

Yeah I ordered the Truss last week and already got the shipping confirmation. Very quick!

So what is the difference / function of the UpTop Quickwire Cab Harness and the Quickwire Lighting Installation Harness?

I've wired up some bajas to my prinsu but it might be a headache tapping into that. A plug n play harness would be great but they are definitely pricey. I plan on searching this page post by post to see the bed rack lighting setups but any help is greatly appreciated!

Anyone have any suggestions to cut down on wind noise on my bravo ex cap rack? Don’t have the cab rack.

I did all that on stock rear leaf springs with a steel bed rack, plus added sliders and a steel rear bumper. At worst you may need an AAL over time. This was my truck in its early days on stock suspension, albeit befoe I trashed the stock rear bumper and added the steel rear. Looking back at this picture makes me realize I've dumped way too much money into this truck.

    20170610_142910.jpg

This is the leaf pack I added, and it was overkill. I ended up pulling the overload leaf out to level it out. The truck felt like it was in a nose dive all the time. This was in addition to a 3" suspension lift in the front.

    Very helpful. Thanks!

I've heard others say the same as you, just wait and see. How can you tell if you need one? Just a sag?

That seems right, but I never got to that point. I had money in my wallet and started throwing it at the truck.

Nice. Looks like bajas are popular. That’s what I’ve got on the prinsu and in the 3rd brake light and I like em. Just trying to see some examples of mounting options

Ah, I legit had Christmas lights on my bed rack, lol. I do have BD S1 on the sides of my cab rack, and two Rigid square pods facing back at the moment.

It has arrived!! I should’ve asked this before I had all the pieces laid out but has anyone seen an install vid? Just the truss rack (no topper or bed cover) DC/SB. I’ve got the pdf it comes with but as others have said, it’s install instructions for every bed rack model known to man rolled up into one.

Hell yeah! Look what finally has arrived. Got this delivered yesterday. I've been patiently waiting and now the time has arrived. Can't wait to get this installed.

Got mine this past weekend. Install was easy. I put the legs/feet/panels together in the garage. Put those on then the load bars. You’ll want to use a drill. Lots of nuts & bolts. Doesn’t take long at all

For the record...the Neiko punch set I found and that's listed in the product section below sucks. Sucks very much. But the General Tools version was absolutely better.

What is a good strategy to get the rack up there solo? I was thinking leaving the armor and handles off, maybe a few load bars, and put it up there on some microfibers via the bed, then I could shimmy it into position, lift corners to put the spacers in (after caulking) and hopefully profit?
