When I was in college and poor, I had rusty tires! No joke, they actually rusted. (because the steel belt was showing.)

Bumper and sliders for me. I have a look in mind, and it is simple.

You are absolulutely correct. I even paid close attention to wheel and tire weights in comparison to what I was looking at. Never found any decisive weight foe the stock wheels though. But, the 705s being 26 odd pounds, and the Toyos OC AT3s being close to the same weight as the factory tires, I should be good.

That being said, I'd like to actually use this thing.

MGM mirror caps bought from another TW member. Like the subtle difference, and goes nicely with the wheels and shell154EC9E7-590A-4E39-848D-EC453639C543.jpg

I just liked how the 701's looked the best! I'm trying to go with a relatively low profile setup, around 2'' lift, 33'' tires, and a low-profile but beefy as hell front bumper with some hidden lights in it, and some underbody goodies too. I love how the crazy overland builds look, but at the end of the day, it is my daily driver, and I put a LOT of miles on it. I would go 35'' tires, but I don't want to have to spend the money just to spend even more money on getting it fully regeared and tuned just for it to be drivable with 35''. Maybe someday when I win the lottery I'll say fuck it and just go berzerk and get every mod that has ever been mentioned on this site.

That's a pretty sick color scheme with the MGM shell, mirror caps, and rims. Looks high and tight!!

If I recall, the 701s weight the same as the 705s, or at least close. I really liked the idea of the "bead grip tech" they mention on those two wheels. So I bought em. Lol

I hear you.. bucket loads of money = bad case of the fuckitz.

I've definitely had some times where I thought I was going to debead my tire when I was aired down, but the bead grip tech works pretty damn well. I was honestly not expecting much, since when I was reading up on it, it sounded kinda gimmicky, but I have to say, I'm impressed with it. Obviously, it won't work as well as a normal Beadlock will, but it's pretty damn good for a LOT cheaper(and DOT legal)

Still digging this? Considering this over the hiline - prefer not cutting anything, which is the only appeal. Though, I think the lines look great with the pro grill. Also, do you know if this will fit the pro/TRD skid plate.

I guess you could go the alka seltzer route. Supposedly the explode, as they can’t burp. No poop after that.

I don't tend to like this color but you've done an outstanding job of making it look great - kudos!

I threw some tint on mine as well. Once I found the right shade I wanted.

    Oh look, another mod....
A few weeks ago I had the taco washed/waxed/polished etc... The guy did such a great job on it, I had him come back and do a ceramic coating on the entire truck (He even did the windows, headlights, tail lights and rims). He cut me a deal on the ceramic because of the prior work he did.

Now my truck looks like a big-ass blue mirror. It's soooooooooo reflective.

Did mine as a prep for doing the same to the headlights and tail lights... then found out the hard way that the Toyota emblem and the aforementioned lights are in an entirely different class of PITA to tint. Actually gave up on the lights because I'll be selling the truck at the end of the summer and it's not worth the effort.
