They wear a bit quicker. I look at my tires in the Fall and decide if they will get me through a winter. If not, I replace them then and unload the old ones cheap while they still have a bit of life in them.

M&S or 3 peak mountain snowflake are the law here from October 1 to April 1.

Like I said, I use the truck for work, can't afford to screw around trying to get the last bit of life from a tire and if tire life is a bit shorter I have to pass that onto my clients and charge a little extra for the truck. Downtime is the killer.

Very interesting. How much tread do they have left when you sell them and what range of money do you get from selling them? I like that idea.

I get rid of them real cheap. Often to people I know. If I were to run new ones for the winter and then swap in the old ones in the Spring and back to the new ones in the Fall, that's two additional your swaps to pay for. Not worth it.

How are you liking the Destination XT tires? I have the same ones and have been impressed. Snow traction is very good. Weight is very reasonable, although I realize sidewall strength is not the same as my BFG KO AT's.
I opted for the skinniest 16 you can get in LT's; 215/85 r16's

100% People who swap winter tires with all seasons or summers every year drive me nuts! It's crazy not to have a separate set of wheels for them!

Woofer2609, I love them so far. I only have about 1K miles on them but no snow time yet. Compared to the prior tire I had, (Pirelli Scorpion), these tires ride like a dream. The Pirellis looked very aggressive and were great in the dirt and mud on my ranch, but were HORRIBLE on the road noise and ride wise. They reminded me of the Super Swampers everyone used to run back in the day. Those look great on your truck. I went with the 235's as I have a 2" lift on the front of my truck and I was afraid the 215's would look a little too skinny and not tall enough. I like the look of the Destination XT overall as well as the performance. I have always had BFG AT's on my prior 4x4 vehicles but I think these seem to be about the same overall?

Would anyone be able to confirm if I could throws these on my 19 SR5 without rubbing? Stock, no lift. Currently running stock 245/75/R16s
Ive read the thread "biggest tire you can go stock" and it says the 265/75, but Im thinking about going 235/85.

I run 255/85R16 on a stock height '17. I have weight as well (skids, sliders, etc.) and do not rub.
You won't have any issues at all - as long as you use OEM wheels.
I want lighter weight tires, so it looks like my next set will be 235/85.

I run 235/85 16 on my SR5. No rub except at full lock with suspension compressed and the rub is very light. Stock rims. I think it is just the mudflaps

Just got some wildpeaks at3w in 235 and love them. Shop set the to 38psi. The don't feel any harsher than the stock Goodyears the truck came with.

I haven't tried them off road yet but on road they feel nice.

Could be done, I’m on 3rd gen TRD Offroad suspension with a 1/4” spacer up front and an Icon AAL in the rear, which is probably mostly flat now anyway

A couple of hours after getting it from the dealer
