The guy had an SAS 1st Gen on 40s, an IFS 1st Gen on 35s, and an SAS Pick Up on what looked like 40s as well

Not to mention a partially parted out 1st Gen and more.

    Glad Ryan gets his fender

Gamiviti makes some good stuff, including towers if you want a Yakima alternative:

    http://www.gamiviti.com/rain-gutter-towers

I had some of their in-channel towers on my 100 and used my own crossbars. You can probably weld a nice rack up for yourself and just use those towers.

Here are their 80 racks for design inspo: http://www.gamiviti.com/80-racks

I have lost all motivation to continue removing baseboard/door trim in the hallway. So close to being done though.

And theres another animal in my attic.

    Oooh shit

    That's a great idea.

I loved how stupid simple, yet how modular extruded aluminum racks have come to be.

I guess I can always buy some extruded bar, cut to size, and weld a bracket of some sort to attach to the towers or something?

I know the feeling. (Though not to the tune of $70mil) "Be careful what you wish for," is such an ignorable idiom until it happens to you then it's a big valid, "Oh shit."

Yep, and they did exactly that and sell them for people who don't want a full rack. Might have some shots of the hardware they offer for ideas. (Or might even be cheap enough to just get from the, I haven't looked at the price)

@Kwikvette Edit: Looks like they just mounted the 80/20 (or whatever brand they use) straight to the mounts:
(In-channel mount pictured, but basically the same idea)

Fuck yeah, the latest with the 4C lens.

I use mine both at school and work. It's highly recommended even if you do overhead (hood won't burn) and TIG (4 sensors).

Just make sure to wear a welding cap, or bandana like me, otherwise you'll have some hairs pulled.

    Expect to spend about $400.
