Even my Tacoma needs 93 octane because of the supercharger

And here you probably thought you'd left California's high gas prices behind when you moved... :(

How many yards can you go on 4.5 gallons of gas? :anonymous:

Some things are thinking it’s spring here but the fig is not buying it the old timers here say when the fig blooms then it’s over.

Evening to everyone (afternoon here lol)

Seems like an unproductive day, did get the starter on the right way on the 74' Vette, took a couple of hours.
I hate having to go back to re-do someone else's work but it starts now. Slapped a fuse interrupter in it eliminating the toggle and replaced bad wiring and splicing, was good to get that outta the way.

Edit: I have no idea why I've had so much energy the last 2 days...have felt like crap, we don't waste good weather round here.

That should be enough gas to get home and then back to the gas station.

Have no idea what 93 octane is right now other than crap gas with too much ethanol.
We have a tank that holds 100 gallons of :burnrubber:gas.

Everyone pitches in but still getting it for $16 a gal, if that isn't handy there are co-ops round here that still sell leaded for the same at 93.
That will stretch the mileage to "now I know how many miles to the tank this really gets".

I still get the good stuff for Baby Toy once in a while - no super charger but that engine wasn't made to run on the ethanol shit and he gets a little grumpy if I don't treat him right.

So....we go on afternoon ride in the park. Counted 38 deer. #32 tried to make the highlight reel.

It runs in front of me. I get stopped. Motorcycle in other lane. He didn't have time to.react. The deer outrank the bike , then crashed into a woven wire fence which pitched it back.on the road. Itstood up.looked around then walked off. We drove on.

If any of you guys have a weird feeling in your chest - go to the ER. It doesn't have to be the crushing pain they show on tv.... One of my friends from work woke up a couple of weeks ago and said his chest felt weird, so he got his wife up and headed to the hospital. He got there and his EKG was normal... they checked his blood - 3 times and that enzyme that indicates a heart attack was going up. Doc told him they didn't understand it - normal EKG, but having a heart attack. They carted him to Columbia and one artery was 97% blocked and the other was 70% blocked. Doc's told him that if he'd gone back to bed, he wouldn't have woken up.
