Sequoia axle is almost ready to go. All new seals, bearings, retainers, o-rings, and abs tone ring. New diff is in and we've eve got the new brakes on as well. Everything is dry fitted at the moment, so I'll have to pull everything apart one more time for finish welding and paint.

The plan = 1UZ swap, TC long travel, Sequioa SUA
    Thanks @cbechtold ,

I am knee deep in 1UZ wiring for the engine swap on my 93 Pickup. Then the suspension fun begins and this axle is leading my list of good options for the build. Light, cheap, disc brakes, bolt pattern and width will match the front TC kit.

Are the BJs the same? I had thought the runners used a smaller stud size

Only the tie rod ends are unique. 4runner and Taco's use the same LCA part - just different OTR's and hence different LBJ's to run different OTR's.

Even the OTR joints are the same?

    TC heimed steering is $600:

    https://www.chaosfab.com/product/19...Long-Travel-Heim-Joint-Steering-Upgrade-96099

That even uses the OEM ITR. Those Solo tie rods just have a reverse thread rod end and will allow you to rotate it and lock it with the lock nuts and replace ITR's with a clevis.

I'm running Tacoma OTR / LBJ's on my T4r, but read that the ball joint on the OTR is different and chose to pair them rather than T4r OTR / Taco LBJ or Taco OTR / T4r LBJ combo.

Like Dalandser said, disc brakes are the biggest difference. Outside that, I actually got this axle for cheaper than a Tundra axle.

Compared to my old Tacoma axle, axle shafts are a little beefier. Bearings are a bit bigger as well. Hopefully that means they'll stand up to bigger tires better until I can throw a more permanent solution in there.

I got a Tundy axel and I've been thinking about doing a disc conversion. Is it even worth it?
