I have the wheelers 3” lift and Spc uca with 16x8 0 offset, 4.5” backspacing rims with copper stt pro 285/75/16. I’m getting some rubbing on the lower control arms. After doing research I need is wheel spacers. I don’t want wheel spacers and willing to purchase new rims. What rims offset/ back spacing would be best for these tires so I don’t rub on lower control arm

Blacktacoma23 If your tires don't rub you can fit bigger tires

yes. A 16x8 wheel with -12 offset equates to a 4" backspacing which will work in your situation.

Is it possible to throw on a 1.25” bora wheel spacer? They don’t have my rims in stock for the -12off set just 0

NO. That will put the backspacing at 3.25" which will likely rub the cab mount from sticking out too far. Will a 1/4" plate spacer prevent the rubbing?

It might help but I don’t think it will solve my rubing. The lift is starting to settle and it’s getting worse

Got any pics of where you are rubbing? I'm running SPC uppers and 285/75/16s on 16x8 4.5bs/0os and don't have rubbing on the LCA that I'm aware of.

OP, I am almost certain that it's not the LCA but instead rubbing the cab mount. Please post pics along with post lift alignment numbers.

Weird. You positive on the wheel specs? What are your alignment specs? Anything bent? I just checked my truck and I'm not close to rubbing there.

Reviving this thread as I just had 265/70/17s put on my truck and am rubbing the LCA on my drivers side. Thinking I need an alignment to max out the caster?
