Looking at the bed mat for the 2022 short bed. Currently drive 2015 and everything slides around. Is the bed mat worth it?

If I could only choose one mod it would hands down be the bed mat. My GSD loves it too!

The OEM bedmat is awesome. It keeps things from sliding around surprisingly well.

My old 05 fits my 22 fine. Sold the old truck but kept the mat. What's that tell you.

I too have an interest in bed mats. Has anyone tried the WeatherTech bed mat? I saw that one online, but I’ve never seen one up close. Just wondering if that particular brand would suffice, or perhaps there’s another brand that someone might recommend?

its all about how much you spend on it. $250? ehh idk.
but sometimes they are on sale for $75 shipped. then they are worth it.

i have a mat in my truck and i like it. better grip for dogs. stuff doesnt slide around as much. easier to get into the bed if you have to reach something, doesnt hurt your knees.
we go to the beach a lot and the dogs bring a lot of sand into the bed......with the mat, just take it out, rinse it, and put it back in.

OEM mat does a good job of keeping things from sliding around, doesn't negate the need to tie stuff down though.

Rexing front and rear dash camera, some LEDs, Weathertech HP floor liners/vent shades/bug deflector/underseat storage bin, OEM Ford bed mat, Diode Dynamics SS3 Pros in selective yellow, Diode Dynamics 18" light bar in amber and universal Carhartt seat covers. Bak Revolver X4S tonneau cover. Android Auto USB plug upgrade! H11 to H9. Sound deadened/insulated floors and rear wall. VLED license plate reverse light. Yokohama GO15s. Rokblokz mud flaps. "Custom" 3in Flowmaster Super 50 Series cat back. J&L catch can. AMP Powersteps
OEM is probably the best and not outrageously expensive. I almost bought the weathertech bed mat but it looked like the edges block the storage bins in the bed.

Definitely, it’s useful. Toyota’s bed mat is not too expensive. It will prevent stuff from sliding around, protect the bed, and feels better on your joints.
