    Not all, but most of them that I deal with overcomplicate very rudimentary things. Then, they want to see documentation of a choice that I make every day.
    They tend to take on jobs that they aren’t familiar with but think they can cypher their way out of.

    We are wanting to do that one also that’s part of the reason I bought the truck I have now. I’m not sure if I have the Alaska camper yet but we at least halfway there.

    That's paints a vivid picture.. no wonder you're always flipping a desk!

    On a side note- looks like MT is going to go back into deep freeze mode very soon, you better get outside for a bit and enjoy it.

    I’m actually thinking about coming through your area on the way up, hit Glacier NP then cross over at Roosville. My plan now is to go up through Banff and Jasper NP. Turn west at Prince George onto the Yellowhead Hwy to the Cassier Hwy. Connect with the Alcan and into Alaska at Tok. I would like to hear your thoughts and any Canada tips.

    You will enjoy it!

    Today was fun...{note sarcasm}
    Decided to give the Taco a stress run, freeway 70+mph for 37 miles then two lane highway 40-60mph another 30 or so miles. Got to my destination, could smell antifreeze (was watching the idiot gauges the entire way and listening to the engine). Popped the hood and sommabitch top rad hose I replaced was leaking, didn't see it was a factory split bout quarter inch long. Still fluid in the res, traffic built up, crawled to the next town 15 miles away until I found a shop. Not one store had a hose so I bought duct tape, crossed my fingers and took the backroads home (closer to 75 miles stop and go lights). Hard on the engine but could shut it down at the lights 4-6 minutes. Made it back on the Island, swung by the parts shop and told them what happened, they won't have another hose for me until tomorrow morning but they did give me a gallon of Red Rad fluid for free even though I won't need but a quart.
    The guy at Napa which was close to the 2nd town I stopped in asked if I had any water with me, he got a blank stare because - duh - you carry one with you after doing any water related work for at least 500 miles.

    Didn't plan my entire afternoon on this crap!

    Evening all :)

    On todays fun trip I notice gas was over $4.50 a gallon in small towns, $3.89 to $4.01 bigger areas.
    Price gouging anyone?
