Windows -L works too. Lol we had to do it any time we left our desk when we worked in the office. Which I thought was wild lol like we all work for the same company.

I got too comfortable. My office (garage) is open to all my sub contractors, and I'm literally the guy who sends them the back charges when they fuck up.

Normally, my guys are close enough that nothing happens. But the job has been especially fucked up since I got back from vacation.

I probably pissed someone off more than I realized.

If you walked away and didn't lock your screen, the CEO might get some, ah, questionable email. Or maybe it would be the whole company. Like my boss sent out some email when I knew he was at home. It said, rather simply, "I'm feeling rather vulnerable right now and wanted to say I love you all"...

Well, fortunately my IT guy is cool. I told him what happened and he said if there is anything else stupid on my compter he should be able to fix it remote.

Most eveything looks like it is someone fucking around, on the computer, not any actual damage.

I'm just fortunate TW was up, and got fucked with. My email (work) must have been closed.

He also said... when you're not at your desk, close your f'n computer, thats why you have a password stupid.

A friend ("Friend 2") told me this tale of the mid-2000s: Friend 1 once walked out of his kitchen briefly, leaving his unlocked flip phone on the kitchen table. Friend 2 grabbed that phone, dropped his pants, took a photo, and set it as the phone's background. Friend 1 returned and was very much not amused.

The digital world is a dangerous place. Lock everything.

The second time was after we’d gone public and become a much larger. A small portion of the network had become very slow. Some dude decided to update his porn collection by submitting a small job to the cluster. It ran away. That was his last day.

    Got that one beat.

Dude at corporate was using the company servers to store the recordings of the hidden cameras he had set up in the corporate locker rooms (gym)

He got a ride in the Sheriff's car on his last day.

Also @Marlin Crawler has absolute BEEF of steel for their LCA Braces. Comparing to the cam tabs I just sold…no competition.

If you're solo, stock, and inexperienced (we all were at one time) the safest approach is to stick to green/easy trails. Definitely avoid all black/hard trails. The blue/medium trails have varying degrees of "difficulties". In other words, they're not all equal, some are harder than others. I think they can all be ran in a stock truck, but experience/comfortability doing so is a factor in that. Last time we went out with some less experienced folks, we needed to spot them at one or two locations on blue trails. I think it was Gusto Grade or Bonaza Gulch? @Kwikvette do you remember?

Also, at least for me, its easy to get turned around out there. I've had to back out of trails in difficult areas because I accidently went onto a black diamond (like buggy or SAS/linked hard) trail. Not every intersection is marked with trail signs. So I'd recommend keeping track of where you're at on the map and/or download a map on onX or similar app (no good cell service) before going out there. If you're not sure, walk around corners first, etc. Some trails have harder sections around a corner when it was easy up until then.

I'd definitely take the green trails to check out both obstacle course areas.

    Hey Shawn!

    Great advice for sure.

But yeah @Funch if you take this advice, you'll do just fine.

It was Bonanza Gulch where I had to jump out and spot a few. Not so much that it's difficult, but putting your front tires (while going down hill) in the wrong place can really make something go from simple, to oh shit.
