they came from the factory on my 500excf, at the moment I have roughly 1500 miles of experience with them myself
not bad but they kinda suck off road so I am afraid of anything less knobbyish, at least my current opinion
the rear is getting low from a good amount of pavement, will prob pull the trigger on tires at some point this summer, but the suspension also needs to be addressed so that plus that, the financial struggle is real
idk man 50/50 just seems like way too slick IMHO

the way I see it, a knobby will take you much further on the pavement than a slick will off road...

so with that philosophy, throw care and comfort to the wind, fuck MPG, and go get some proper adventure bike tires

you will need the best of the best of conditions if you want to make it up flagpole with a 50/50 tire

Had a little bit of time after work and it finally wasn't raining or snowing, so I took the Navi down to my dealer real quick to see if he had gotten my license plate in yet, which he had, whoop whoop! No more temporary tag.

Also learned on the way back that this thing is HILARIOUSLY easy to do tiny wheelies on. Like, bounce and lift up and it's in the air. I was giggling like a small child for a solid five minutes just doing tiny little hops around town on my way back home

My bikes got Dunlop trailmax missions and they’ve done good in everything and when they didn’t … my crash bars get great traction!

I agree with most of these guys regarding tire aggressiveness. As a side note, I’ve been impressed with where the wife goes on stock f750 tires.

The Anakee 3s that came on my 750GS were pretty good, went all over Alaska on dirt/gravel/mud roads and didn’t let me down. In sand they sucked bad so after moving to Colorado I replaced them with Mitas E07+ and sacrificed a little on road performance for much better off-roading.

@fatfurious2, is the plan for this weekend mainly hard pack or off road? Trying to figure out my priorities Friday/Sat.C064005E-5FAF-4AB1-9CE6-3BC009DA8F6C.jpg

Pavement only. Was thinking of riding somewhere like Berkley Springs, Chambersburg, Gettysburg, and then back towards home.

Also starting around noon. Going to get breakfast with the wife

Sounds like a good time, enjoy! I got my directions mixed up (your west is my north). If y’all change it up and decide to head further south-west let me know. We’re gonna attempt to install the new rubbers tonight and hit a trail near Shendoah/Madison Sunday.

She’s currently a work “not-in-progress”. Flywheel spins, piston moves, bike kicks & makes compression, spark plugs good so I think the only thing I’m missing is a clean(new) carb.

    None... yet.
Will monitor for updates! If pavement only, I'll likely go with the F4i...

Must have missed it but Saturday or Sunday? I can't do Saturday but if Sunday might try to catch you all in Chambersburg or Gettysburg.
