I was thinking it but stopped myself from saying it. I watched a dog that had made it 500+ miles without throwing up bouncing in her crate on 78 until she couldn’t handle it anymore. Luckily I had a spare crate to rotate her into so I could clean up the mess.

We have a restaurant run by Greeks near us and they make there own. And you can tell there’s something a little different about it. I got one of the staff to tell me what it is anchovies I’m not a anchovy fan but it is good. We eat it on the fried squash as well.

    Good morning everybody. Friday! :woot:

If the trip goes I can probably make a weekend visit happen, I don’t have a really fixed timeline.

I’m trying to balance the snow, mud, bugs and wildfires. I was originally thinking May/June but some other people told me I would be dealing with rain, mud and bad bugs then :notsure: It’s a balancing act for sure.

I’ve already got a copy of the Milepost, it’s a great resource. I’ve got it full of post it tabs and highlighted pages already.

I checked into the ferry, way out of my price range for me and the truck. It would be fun to do if it was cheaper.

I’m afraid gas is going to be way over 4.25 by this summer. I was checking Canadian gas prices about a month ago, it was working out to almost $6pg o_O:mad:

Not a tartar sauce fan. Preference in that case is for cocktail sauce.

I68 is a beautiful run although the part in WV and western MD can be a little rough in the winter.

mid june would be the sooner i would depart
bugs are going to be bad no matter when you go. definitely need to bring along a roll of paper towels and some cleaner. the wipers and washer fluid are only going to smear it around.
you're probably the only person who knew what a mile post was before i told them so you're already ahead of the game there.

That's really close to ketchup, being a tomato based condiment. Some recipes even call for ketchup.

She hates mayo, so I would imagine tartar sauce is also a no-go

Chunky mayo. You can get the same thing by leaving a jar on the shelf for a year or two. :D

Good morning everyone! Happy Friday. Takin the taco up to the cabin tonight. Left our better golf clubs up there since we usually play up there more often. Going to Hilton Head in two weeks and can't see myself taking the 30yo junky clubs I have down in the basement here. The new timeshare we just acquired comes with free daily greens fees on three different courses. Of course the cart rentals aren't included so that will probably be about $150 for 9 holes. lmao
Have the best day you can!

That's a horrible idea. What time?
The first time I drove it I caught the fog rolling over the mountain and into the valley near the 68 /70 split. It is a beautiful drive and not nearly as tense as the turnpike. I haven't had the pleasure in the winter, but with the remote areas and the hills, I could see it being a little challenging.
