my issue is that if i want to Run the DD pod lights, i would need to create a new wiring harness since the current one only has 3 wires going to the backrack.
If i want to use the fancy red backlight feature and anything else, then i'm looking at needing more wires to send back there.
(Master Grounding, Live for lightbar, upsize live for Pod lights, Live for backlights, and whatever other effect)

    Not all too bad to do but it's a bit of a bitch but will certainly take a day or so to do;
    1. Remove Backrack
    2. Remove Tonneau cover
    3. Remove the old wires and conduit (wires are taped together so i can't use one to pull in more) which have 30 zipties most likely
    4. conduit is also sealed at both ends meaning fun trying to cut open to salvage the conduit
    5. Upsize all of the existing wires to be that of the same, So new wires all together
    6. got to bundle the new wires
    7. Feed into new conduit (might need to upsize) to a 1.5" round
    8. Remove the headboard thing on the front of the bed as the master connecot is mounted there.
    9. wire/solder new master connector as i have a 4 pin version and would like to have the 7 pin so it's in one connector (however the 7pin is rated to 12A where the 4 pin is rated for 20A. so would most likely need to get this guy meaning new mounting solutions. if need to remove the 4 Pin connector, will need to remove old rivnuts)
    10. remount the master connector to the headboard square tube thing
    11. new plugs for all of the lights. This includes front pods and what not since i'd like to keep things consistent.
    12. wire everything up and see if it work
    13. Wire up new master connector to secondary Aux box that is mounted to the headboard square tube thing as well
    14. drill new holes into it and have a new larger grommet
    15. wire wire conduit to secondary aux box
    16. go to the truck
    17. feed wire conduit through frame and butt against the cab mount, fish rest of the wires up into the engine bay via where the rubber mat covering is
    18. fish wires up to rat's nest that is the primary aux fuse box and switch panel
    19. feed conduit up to the back of the truck
    20. remove the old door stopper plate from the back and replace with new one in new location to prevent cable from rubbing up against the cab
    21. zip tie everything in
    22. mount new harness to secondary AUX box since routing is a bitch
    23. bolt the headboard back into place
    24. reinstall tonneau cover
    25. drag the backrack back and lock into place
    26. hope to the Offroad God and patron saint of PC Cabling
    27. done.

    Long story with that one.
It was a donated rig that was meant to go to someone 2-3 years ago but they flaked because they didn't want to spend the $60 for me to ship it and expected me to send it to him for free. This was after I dragged it from new Jersey to be able to make it as cheap as possible.

So after it sitting around in my room taking up space for 8 months, I figure to spite him i scrapped the rig. the AX1200 there was 10 years old at the point. not risking a fire hazard. i still have it sitting around as a "worse case scenario" though.

I think Toyota Canada likes to do things differently just because they can, for example, 2.5gen Tundra TRD pro in Canada has BSM, parking sensor, but you can't have those in US, US Trail edition Tundra had those boxes so I thought was available here, got part numbers and shows up as available, but couldn't order them, same thing with that Army Green cooler, shows up in the system but couldn't order it, then on the new Tundra you can't order tech pack or have certain color options when its widely available in states, but now suddenly you can get one in 2wd.

OK, my Thunder Bay friends...can you chime in here for me. I might need a mission (should you decide to accept it) of informational nature not remotely related to tacomas or Off-Road.

I've tracked down a car I used to own, sold in 93, that now resides in Thunder Bay. I have details (no address) that I won't publish here but will share via DM to locals

Wouldn't mind if someone could eyeball something for me SHOULD anything come out of it. All on the up and up, and everything would be arranged by me for both sides

Very, very preliminary at the moment, just guaging a feel if I have eyes on the ground

    Gracias fellow cunts

Speaking of which, where is @Joe23 ?
