You didn't answer my question... I'm looking into your issue. I can look at the logs you sent, but as I stated previously OBD Fusion is absolutely dog shit for logging. I appreciate your feedback, SIR!

I'm sorry you feel that way, but your log file only samples, on average, once every 3 seconds.
Compared to vF, which is about 7 samples per second, you gave us about 1/21th of the data. Then you respond with a "yep" and call us "amateurs" because you expect us to fill in the blanks?

Would you like assistance on how to reconfigure fusion to sample faster? I'd be glad to lend you a hand, as I have done so myself and helped others in the past. Otherwise, if you already know how then I won't waste your time, but we would appreciate for you to make those changes and provide those logs as well.

Also, the edits contained within this tune work best by resetting/clearing ECU and TCU. I don't believe you did that for the TCU which could contribute to issues you were having. I've seen issues where slip lock (or other TC changes) don't take effect, higher TC temps, higher transmission temps, etc from people not performing the resets. And I'm sure you have too. I know it sucks having to perform the learning process over again, but it's a necessary evil. Please do that before providing further logs as well.

Kevin thought up the idea. I joined in a bit later. We joined heads with AJ shortly after, then added Frank to the mix. We've all contributed, but the thought came from Kevin initially, so we give credit to him.

 

He won't admit it, but he's the muscle behind Nexus.

Tune is sounding better and better that is how I feel this nexus tune is, a smooth solid tune with all the right tweaks! I had a good laugh reading these last two pages. Yall almost make me spit out my timmies !

What about other issues that came up on my trip? Are you planning to fix them?

If you have not performed a full ECU & TCU I highly encourage you to do so now. It is required for this tune.

 

What do you want addressed? Nothing is wrong with the file. You're "seeing a high amount of Misfires". I've already explained that what you are seeing is WELL within Toyota's specified range. Not to mention, I have yet to see anyone repeat what you're seeing. The TC temperature in the low 200s is again 100% acceptable. Transmission temp needs to stay at or below 200* not Torque Converter. If you would like to pay more for a custom tune that can be accommodated.

 

Can you please show SLU status and transmission 1 and 2 temperature on a log. None of these are included in what you sent.
Just because you see lock up status at 0 doesn't mean half lock isn't still engaged. Half lock controls temps very well from going outside of operating ranges while still adding mechanical advantage and eliminating the need for a downshift.

 

Torque converter temps were a concern?
I saw this increase like a mf on 2.0 beta. First tune I ran. I asked about these temp increases and even mat said the same. Temps for that are no issues at all. Hell I've had mine at 212 Many times over. Never had an issue, even with a 2k trailer behind me. The only time I've ever seen the trans pan get warm etc on the ultragauge reader of mine is from racing, towing, uphill travels mountains etc or bagging really really hard. back n forth between gears and high speeds etc. Even then it's 5 Celsius or 10 fah increase. She cools down fast.
