...thus by flying forward during the collision, it responded with "action-reaction", off-setting an equal amount of impact energy and thus saving the rear end of the truck (like a crumple zone saves occupants).

I’d have to first give a shit for it to bother me.

People can internet armchair quarterback/engineer all they want, but it’s my truck and what I do to it shouldn’t bother anyone enough to cry wolf…

Ha. I did the same thing when I first bought the truck! Color matched, of course:

Yes it’s pretty straight forward. Two bolts and two screws.

Just about to install the repurposed chalk bag bottle holders someone posted here a couple weeks ago.

    20220304_132129.jpg

These were ordered through Etsy so they have all the Taco geek mods:
    • Smaller top loops
    • Larger pen loop
    • Mirrored design
    • Vinyl inner fabric
    • No drawstring
Static sent me a third bag because she apparently wasn't happy with the quality of the top stitching on it. I honestly cannot spot the difference, they all seem top notch so her attention to detail is pretty insane.

These are the waxed canvas in gunpowder.

If anyone wants the spare I've got I will send to you for the cost of shipping since it was included for free. Just DM me. It's been claimed, sorry!

If anyone is considering a purchase be sure to go through Etsy rather than REI since more $$$ of those purchases go to the businesses, and Static runs an awesome shop!

Installed it a few weeks ago. No leaks, no noticeable loss in fuel economy. I did pick up some wind noise, but what would one expect bolting things onto the roof. Install was very straightforward.

Haven't used it yet so I cannot speak to its practicality. The weight limit is 100lbs if I recall.. so light duty uses. It looks great up there.. I don't see many around me with it. Matter of fact I don't see to many Tacomas around here unless it's Tuesday.. odd I know.

Hyper flashing has gotten out of hand. I got out of that ricer shit scene a long time ago brings back bad memories of Altezza tail lights and whatnot…

    Just getting started.
I really like the mountain/desert stickers folks put over their door badges, but I was thinking yesterday that we don't really have mountains in Texas and I don't live anywhere near a cactus. Besides, if I'm going to fantasize about mountains I might as well make it a good one. So, thinking about how a mountain scene would look against the backdrop of my Inferno, I fired up the vinyl cutter and to quote a well worn meme, "One does not simply walk into Mordor."

I bet Frodo and Sam wouldn't have had any problems in a Taco.

Next up for today, I really need to get my Miller Cat Security installed before it rains.

What if those caps were replaced with, let’s say, Red Bull cans, full. Would the taurine help at all? Sorry bro. It’s Friday.

NoS energy drink would probably work better. Bigger can size and better taste to boot…

Red Bull is garbage lol Monster is worse than garbage…

I don’t know when the last time I had an energy drink. A long time back I went to a rockstar sponsored concert, shots of rockstar for free everywhere. Got so sick. Missed the deftones.

    Enough for now
lol yeaaaa word on the forum is the design is universal to a few Toyota/Lexus vehicles and not worth the cost to make it right side up just for the Tacoma. The upside down one was by far the easiest to install haha

My wife has a Cricut, and I have made some stuff for fun, but I am not really familiar with what resources are out there. Is the pattern to match the cutouts of Tacoma emblem available somewhere, or did you figure that out yourself? Thanks.

My uncle owned 4 liquor stores I enjoyed not paying for non alcoholic beverages.

Apparently excess consumption of Taurine is no bueno for the body too bad no one told me when i was in my 20s…guess I’ll just stick to caffene and nicotine.
