I really like these AEV wheels but they are only for the Jeep folks. Nevertheless the stock wheels on my 22' Tacoma Trail edition are keepers although all the little nooks and crannies make cleaning a PITA.

Old school here. Nothing against black but like chrome better. Interior mods were finished since this picture was taken. This is a 17 SR Tacoma. Never followed trends. Never cared what others think. I like what I have done.

People already do dumb shit to Tacomas, like buy a 2wd and convert it to 4wd, maybe it's time someone did a 6-lug to 5-lug conversion so we can get more AEV wheel models.

AEV Pintler wheels are my favorite! Been looking for a reasonably priced set for my 2001 Wrangler for about a decade. AEV stopped making them in the TJ bolt pattern a few years after the JK was released in 2007. Now, anyone selling a set in the 5x4.5 bolt pattern for the TJ prices them as if they were made of unobtanium.

 

Wow, such response! To begin with “I couldn’t care less” if you are on team rim or team wheel. I haven’t heard this much of a bitchfest since those awful “Twilight” movies. For me it’s all about contrast, say black rims on black tires then black fenders, it all looks like a big blob! I’m paying good cashola for rims, I want them to be seen! Respect to all who show off the wild wonderful world of rim/wheel combos out there. IMHO, those bronzes are gonna look dated in 5 or so years, but hey that’s fashion. I like brushed aluminum and light gunmetal that’s me. Keep rollin’ everyone!!
