Those pictures on an overcast day make the colours look very similar.

Same here, I dig it, it's a cool color. Glad this thread finally has some solid pictures and that people are finally getting their trucks.

And I truly believe it's a better green than Army Green :stirthepot:

I saw a nice clean Porsche Cayenne towing a utility trailer at the dump. Instead of taking that Porsche to the dump, why not buy a Tacoma to run to the dump? Is the only thing I could think of.

I wish it was a pearl or something non metallic as the metallic colors always seem cheaper to me. Nonetheless, ELM still looks awesome

I can't wait to see you around town. When I get mine we can point at each other. Great looking ride.

How does your family fit in it? Do they like it?

I was told on Friday that mine still hasn’t been allocated (ordered last October), but “we are getting closer.” This means a lot of people have said screw it and canceled orders. I mentioned that the Ranger Raptor looks pretty cool and has a lot more horsepower and leg room and felt like a jerk for saying so…. But these are facts. If Toyota can come through prior to June 1st then they can keep my money. If not? I’ll never spend a dime on a Toyota product again…. And that right there is like John DeLorean saying he will never buy cocaine again or Cheech and Chong saying they won’t ever buy another doobie.

I put deposits out on a few different vehicles. A bronco, a Lexus GX 460, two Tacomas, an Explorer ST, a Bronco Raptor. The one I really wanted was a Tacoma, and I foolishly figured that since I have bought so many without issue over the years that they would just make sure I got one so that I would come back in two years as many times as I had years left. Things have changed though.

I am debating between the Ranger Raptor and the 4% below invoice deal on a TRX in solid black with just the option package 1. It might be an interesting purchase since the hellcat engine is headed for the scrap heap of history by Stellantis. I could drive one for fun for a bit and still get a Taco when it hits the second year of the newly redesigned model with the kinks worked out and three extra inches of leg room.

Don't let the torque and hp numbers fool you. They are absolutely meaningless in every single offroad scenario. Except towing.. but that's a different thread.

The taco has all the power it needs for everything offroad at low speed. If you want a fancy truck to pass a tesla on the highway get the Raptor.

I can't wait to offroad with these raptors. They will push toyota to grow! Everyone wins

I considered it, for about 3 min and 34 seconds. Then I remembered my dads ford's.

I will say the electric lime rush looks better than I though it would(yet to see one in the wild) however, I usually like to drive at least 10 over the speed limit, and that green looks like it would stick out tons more than my army green. That and the army green in the sun still amazes me on how much it brightens up. Willing to bed the electric lime won’t show the dirt nearly as much as the AG does. And I also dig the stamped in trd pro bedsides.

Oh I don’t think the TRX is that cool. It’s a Ram 1500 with a Power Wagon engine with a ridiculously inefficient supercharger on it. It doesn’t make much sense. But that’s the exact kind of vehicle that ends up being worth more later on, especially since Stellantis is dropping the 8’s. I remember everyone wanted a 440 or a 340 when I was a kid. Now they pay half a million for a 413 wedge with no valve seals and 13:1 compression or a 426 that used as much oil as gas. Funky cars with funky tech always has an audience. I buy them because they ultimately are free when I sell them after 2-3 years. I’ve Made money on every Toyota I’ve ever bought brand new, and would love to have a new Tacoma for my forthcoming retirement move to Vermont. I retired at 48 and plan to live off the beaten path in a log home for the rest of my life and had wanted a Land Cruiser, and had the money saved and ready to go… literally the day they announced they were discontinued after twenty years of saving. So I’ve kind of been scrambling. I figured I could at least see the electric lime taco in a snowstorm. With the TRX I would eventually bump into it since it’s as big as my house. Haha. The Raptor Ranger is what you say… something that will push Toyota to focus on a few things that could use improving (more gears, more power, more comfortable seats). Everyone wins which is good for all of us.
