Those are close to the same thickness. Only issue I see is the paint. It's gonna stink.

When welding anything of varying thickness it's good to focus more heat on the thicker material and then lap over into the thinner stuff. As mentioned they're similar thickness so it shouldn't be too bad but I would still keep that in mind.

If you guys want gore, there’s a thread for that. Them dudes love that stuff:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-nsfw-gore-ignore-the-kitty-thumbnail.396595/

I swear TW has a thread for everyone. It’s not just pictures. I’ll admit I like hearing the story of how things like that happen. 9/10 times it was a lapse in safety protocol (“because it’ll be quick”) or distraction is to blame. I learn from other peoples mistakes- I’ve made enough of my own by now.

    @koditten can ignore that link.

It was more of a “heads up, don’t look”. Haha. But that never works.

Maybe explain why it was being so mean and nasty ?

If you want I give it a good home. If it is time to part up don`t suffer it happens .

That’s why I check it every few years or so. Graph looks a lot better over a longer span :D

I started out using Mach3 "Mill". It worked very well.

Advanced to adding torch height control, so I could spend less time watching the cutting process.

Of course I need to use Mach3 "plasma" for the torch height control feature to work.

Transfered all my settings to M3 "plasma". M3 plasma won't recognize my second motor on the Y axis. It's no joy watching the gantry twist like a politician. That second motor needs to be in sync with the 1st motor.
Ended up bouncing back to M3 "mill" with no THC just so I could finish the cutouts.

I'll figure this out. Just need to be less worked up when I go after it.

The Eastwood mini saw works like a mofo. Took the word "plasma" right out of my head. If you consider buying one, get extra blades. This one side ate one blade already.

I get $83/ pair plus shipping for the big ones.

I need to update my add. Iron has gone up a lot!

I have 3 CNC plasma frames available.

I never gave it a thought until just now, but I could ship just inner parts a lot cheaper than the complete units. A person just needs to source their own 2" x 1/8" band iron local.

Be interested in the smaller set.

Going to fab up a small tank, and it's aluminum so I'll need to clamp it up to keep it square.

Those fire ball ones are the nicest ones out there.

    The price reflects it too.
