I have a friend out there who's company is leaving. They are building a new HQ in Texas and should be out of CA by the end of the fiscal year. I think he's contemplating a move as well, although he is in wine country, so that may keep him there and working remote.

    Morning everyone!

Got up stupid early to drive to UW for MRI & Ultrasound. Results on thyroid are neg, no surgery needed there! Hoping they can do surgery on my left ear to get my hearing back up to 70-80%.
4 years ago I went to bed could hear fine. Woke up and couldn't hear out of my left ear. Apparently that is common for ppl of all ages so I don't feel old after that.

Swung by and picked up a new rad hose, weather is sunny through Monday, got a ton of things to get done!

Have a great friday and weekend y'all!

Was reading RV mag yesterday about travel with gas prices up (and going up), 67% of folks are staying closer to home this year.

If it's tourist season, why can't we hunt them? :spy:

Sounds like you need to clad it with metal siding to keep the pyromaniac from burning it again.

I missed the turn off for 79S towards Morgantown to 68 on the return trip from Colorado ( and the damn toll road was listed as being I 70) and got stuck on that damned turnpike. I think it was around $45 in tolls just to get to the 1st exit to get into MD around Hancock. ( ironically where I 70 and 68 split apart..)
Have you tried Dijon mustard on french fries? Extra yummy!

Agreed! My in-laws sold their house here earlier this week, they now get to try to find a new place in eastern TN or western NC. Once they get moved, my wife and I will get our shit packed up, put our house on the market, and head east to join them, and find ourselves a new home once the house here sells.

    :annoyed:
went into town to run errands. since i got an early start i thought i'd treat myself to lunch. think again. second time this winter i've gone to have lunch and the place is closed, not enough staff so they do take out only. sitting in the truck to eat isn't my idea of fun so i skipped it.
i did get all of my errands done before the snow storm hit so at least there's that.
