Still had the insurance going until the next day but they pretty much said since it wasn't technically stolen by legal terms I'm on my own with it.

They reluctantly did list it as stolen but because since I gave up the title in exchange for a "check" it technically wasn't even legally theft, just fraud where it would be up to me to find him and take him to small claims court. He had it listed to sell the next day so I might get a hit if the next person registers it but I'm not going to hold my breath. And even then best I could get is the bike back and at that point I would just be sharing the screwing over with some other innocent person as well as open myself up to litigation by the new"owner".

Before I throw them up on FB market place. Anyone interested in Bilstein 5100 with OEM (not OME) springs on the 4th of 5 perch settings. Gave 1.55 lift to level the truck out. They have aproxx 2500 miles on them. Located in Ridgefield wa $250. These came off my 2021 SR5 longbed

I was born and raised in west/north Seattle. Unfortunately, that resulted in me being the victim of vehicle theft constantly. Below is a short list of my stolen vehicles (between 1999 and 2006 excluding the Tacoma, when I was house sitting)...

• 1991 Jeep Wrangler - Soft top was unzipped and all of my stereo equipment was stolen
• 1992 3000GT - Car was completely stolen and recovered completely stripped
• 1986 Ford Ranger - Truck was stolen and never recovered
• 1992 3000GT (2nd one) - Car was broken into multiple times and stereo equipment stolen
• 2017 Tacoma - Broken into and rummaged through. Some random crap stolen

All of that taught me to never leave shit in my vehicles and to quit putting stereo systems in my vehicles. In 2007 I moved to the north end (Bothell) and have never once missed the south side. My cars have never been fucked with up here and I can sleep better at night not worrying about it.
