From front to back, 1-3-5 on the passenger side, 2-4-6 on the drivers.
Yeah could stand to be replaced, probably won’t do much for a fuel economy issue though.

Getting way too good at replacing wheel bearings on these trucks.

Got my spindle off, ill replace the wheel bearing in the morning, but found out my culprit was the inner needle bearing i bought from Offroad Solutions. The inner diameter is wayyyy too tight causing clearancing issues with the CV, sucking it into the hub, chewing up the brass bushing, thus destroying my wheel bearing.

I ordered mine in late October and finally after a few follow ups, a CC dispute through PayPal that didn’t amount to anything, their “proactive” email; I finally got a tracking number earlier today. I hope that means they will finally ship out soon.

Yep, got a tracking number yesterday too. Here’s hoping it’s not damaged or has fitment problems or it’ll be Labor Day before the replacement shows up.

The turbo killed the VTEC sound. It's much quiter now but still has room for improvement. I just want to hear turbo noises.

Magnaflow is where its at. 1st I had a flowmaster 44 weld in muffler, end up getting destroyed on a rock and rusty as hell. Then went to a gibson cat back, not as good, wasnt very good. Finally went magnaflow catback stainless and couldnt be happier. Fit and finish is good and 14" definitley gives the coming down the road (not as loud as the pitbulls, but still...) but sounds great and sits up high out of the rocks.

Swapped out driver side wheel bearing #3 today, im getting way too good at that lol. Hopefully that was the last time.

Turns out the noise i was hearing that i thought was my wheel bearing going was just part of my dust shield on the passenger side hitting the rotor :bananadead::bananadead::bananadead:

Needed to be replaced anyways, the offroad solutions inner needle bearing and inner brass bushing were causing a ton of issues. Glad to have all oem parts on the driver side now, just need to do the passenger side at some point now.

I was expecting a ring and pinion, but not the carrier itself. Sad part is it didn't even happen on anything cool, just a small hill.

mine didn't even do that when my pinion go sucked into the diff. Ate a big chunk out of the carrier but didn't break it. crazy.

Did your front wheels spin after it happened? I feel like they would have locked up completely.

No spining after. But I did notice some binding in reverse only when in 4wd later at home. I was able to still drive the truck normally in 2wd for a few weeks while I had a spare diff mailed in.

When I took the diff out the drivers side L bracket was loose which I'm sure contributed to the destruction of the diff. That and many years of hard abuse.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Maybe someone can point me in a better direction here.

    96 4 Runner with 5VZ-FE, Auto

Truck starts fine when completely cold.

After it's warmed up, it cranks but wont turn over.

Brand new battery, Alt tests 13.8 volts charging. (I mention that because you'd be suprised how many idiots think those might be the cause even AFTER I say it's >CRANKING<)

New fuel filter. (Old one was, in fact, hella dirty)

New fuel pump and new pump strainer.

    New EFI relay.

    New fuel ciruit opening Relay.

Fuel pump, strainer, and both relays were replaced. Nothing changed.

Again, truck starts, pretty much immediately, when cold. Cranks but wont start if you shut it off and try to start again when it warms up. (actually, more specifically, will start, but you've got to try it (ignotion), then stop over and over again... and then it will turn over)

When it's running, the idle is definately higher than it should be. Probably around 1500 rpms, doesn't come down when the engine warms up. No adjustments have been made on the throttle linkage.

Hopefully someone can chime in and bounce ideas here. I don't want to continue throwing parts at this thing.

I had a similar issue recently. Sometimes when I go to start it, it would turn over and immediately die or just not even turn over at all. IIRC it had happened with both cold and warm starts. I would have to turn the key over again and start gassing the throttle to rev it and then I would have to manually kinda keep it alive with the foot pedal for a few minutes until it would idle on its own. Kinda reminded me of a flooded dirt bike you know? Hasn’t happened since I replaced my IACV. I’d say it even starts up easier now. I do idle a little high now but that’s my butterfly and not IAC related.

I was kind of starting to lean towards the Intake Air Control Valve and gasket.
