Stubbs welding HD-SKO weld on sliders for sale. $250 Less than a year old, I absolutely love the way these fit, look and protect but my kids are having a really tough time getting in and out of the truck without steps of some kind. Heavy Duty, single kick out is the model and more info can be found here. http://www.stubbswelding.com/index.html

Currently painted flat black and installed, I need to have my welder remove them for me. Shipping would be prohibitive so we'll have to stay local/near local to New Brunswick Canada.

Can't you have your welder add a little extension (or step plate) on top of the slider for you? It would be easier to get in/out, wouldn't interfere with anything and might save you some money and hassle.

Cool looking product Eric, and I agree .....Very solid of you to look to add to someone else's product to meet my needs, thank you for that. At this point however I've decided instead of attempting to modify them in any way I'm going to go in a different direction. I'm taking a bath for sure when you consider shipping, price to install, price to remove etc. but shit happens.

Thank you for the helpful suggestions gang.

just have your welder lower them a few inches, more nerf bars than sliders, but you keep them and they work as a step ;)
