    hey all -

i could SWEAR that other people's stock tacos ride higher than my stock taco, despite what other people have told me. you have a tape measure? i do, and took measurements at both axles.

so i'm just curious... where's your fender at on your STOCK taco (can't remember which is front/rear, but i'm just trying to get a general idea anyway)?

Measuring from the pavement to fender is useless since people run different tire sizes.

Measuring from center of hub to fender is better because that won’t change based on tire size alone. Stock is something like 21” hub to fender front and like 22” rear (don’t quote me on that, going off memory).

Also depends on age of your suspension. My stock junk was sagging badly causing loss of height.

What's the basics on your rig? Year, 2/4 wheel, etc.

I could measure mine and it's going to be accurate to new (since Toyota just gave me a new frame and suspension) but I'm a 2010 single cab 2WD so it might not help for your comparision.

All good man..popped in my skull because of my truck. People used to always ask how much I lowered it because they didn't think about it being 2WD..though I'm sure almost 120K on the original suspension made it sag a tad.

Like mentioned you have to measure from center of hub to fender. My bone stock 2020 SR 4x4 is front 21.5" and rear 22.5
