What do you do with them? I’ve had so much abuse, including backing into a tree, carrying an entire tree on tailgate, snapping cables, but never have I managed to break those bushings…:confused::confused:

Hey buddy. I used to frequent here but no longer have my Tacoma. I live in Thunder Bay. What are you looking for exactly?

I can keep an eye out. Shoot me a DM.

If they are strictly chase lights used on the trail and not used in daily driving, do they still need to be red? Mine are white and only get used during convoying with heavy dust. I only flash them as a thank you once in a while.

Not entirely sure. I went snowboarding the one weekend, and my friend and I sat on my tailgate a couple times? I only think it was this cause the tailgate fell off the hinges when I opened it a day or two later.

Nothing officially planned. You missed out on winter wheeling couple weekends ago. :sadviolin: It’s spring time and next in our plans is Mall Crawl Meet in April, then we off to season opener at Ardbeg where everyone and their Yaris is welcome, after that we ate attending/presenting at Overland NTH :humble:and off we go into wheeling season. More “send it and yolo” than ever before :stirthepot:

I’ve had crazy weight on my tailgate while loading/unloading the randomest of things [safes, motorcycles, helping people move, etc…] and mine is totally fine, maybe just a weak/brittle piece from the factory? Better luck with this one! … I’m gonna take a look mine today though lol

for anyone considering selling their trucks to get an econo-box because of the fuel prices hitting $2.00 now.

    Do not consider an Acura.
it's the most anti-consumer and anti-mechanic vehicle i've ever experienced.

    now the uncensored version:

disclaimer; all of my fucks have been thrown out the window
DO. NOT. FUCKING. EVER. BUY. A. FUCKING. ACURA. VEHICLE. OF. ANY. KIND. IN. YOUR. FUCKING. LIVES.
(at least not the MDX because fuck that car and everything about it.)

Fuck push button transmission bullshit, can't even tell if the fucking thing is in park.
fuck having a push button parking break because it lurches forward every time its engaged.
fuck not being able to put the car into accessory mode and simply putting it in neutral.
fuck how boring the car is to drive as you excitedly wait to hit 40km/h.
fuck the stupid "courtesty" seat adjustment.
fuck the idiotic backup camera which looks like it's from a phone from the 90s.
Fuck the designer who puts the fucking engine oil filter in the wheel well.
fuck the fact you need a hose to pour engine oil in.
the wire dipstick is pretty cool.
fuck the amount of plastic you have to not fucking scratch in the engine bay.
fuck the fact there is a piece of cross member out of arm's reach that perfectly collects the oil cap because it fell down.
fuck the fact the oil cap is in an unnatural angle to easily service.
fuck the engine and fans being 2" apart and you tear your arms apart as you try to reach said fallen oil cap.
fuck the number of different fittings holding down plastic on the underside (I counted 4 different bolts/ clips on the underside holding one piece in place because fuck you that's why.).
fuck the fact that even if you remove this plastic you still can't reach the fucking oil cap because there is no room.
fuck modern day designers because the only thing they got right is it looks like every other fucking crossover on the god damned market.
    fuck Acura.
I will buy and service a mini cooper before i ever consider an Acura ever agian.

And now to look at 33" economy tires because the truck looks god awful on the stock 30s with a 2 inch lift. i can fit my head in the wheel well....
